Condor reports strong well test at Kumli gas field in Uzbekistan

February 17, 2026

Condor Energies has reported encouraging well test results from its Kumli gas development in Uzbekistan, supporting a potential extension of the Kumli Northwest field and ongoing drilling across its Central Asia portfolio.

The Kumli-45 vertical well was drilled to a total depth of 2,410 m and encountered approximately 19.9 m of net carbonate reservoir across four intervals. Following perforation and stimulation, the well flowed at a stabilized rate of 5.3 MMscf/d (approximately 883 boed) during a seven-hour test. Preliminary analysis indicates strong reservoir quality and near-virgin pressure conditions, suggesting additional undeveloped potential within the structure.

Condor plans to bring the well onto production once the drilling rig is relocated to the next well slot on the pad. The company intends to drill four additional horizontal wells from the same location, targeting both the primary reservoir identified in Kumli-45 and deeper prospective zones. Further stimulation work is also planned to potentially enhance flow rates.

Elsewhere in the development program, Condor has completed drilling of the Andakli-21 horizontal well, which includes a 1,279-m lateral section, one of the longest drilled in Uzbekistan. Preparations are underway to stimulate and test the well, with production expected to begin later this month. The previously drilled Andakli-23 well is also scheduled for stimulation and testing, with first production targeted for March.

The results form part of Condor’s multi-well campaign aimed at expanding production and reserves across its Uzbekistan gas assets, where the company is applying updated seismic interpretation and drilling data to identify additional development opportunities within existing fields.
