Kongsberg Maritime has introduced a unified digital solutions portfolio and launched KM Performance, a new platform designed to support operational efficiency, emissions monitoring and regulatory compliance across marine and offshore fleets.
The updated portfolio consolidates the company’s legacy software offerings into a single integrated ecosystem built on a common data architecture. Systems including K-IMS, Vessel Insight, K-Fleet and Coach have been combined under a unified digital framework intended to improve data transparency, interoperability and consistency across onboard, onshore and cloud-based applications.
The first solution to be released within the new portfolio, KM Performance, provides tools to support voyage planning, operational monitoring and post-voyage analysis. The platform integrates sensor data and manual inputs to provide a consolidated view of vessel performance and support decision-making across the full voyage cycle.
Key capabilities include route optimization based on weather conditions, trim and hull performance analysis, fuel consumption monitoring and automated emissions reporting. These functions are intended to help operators improve fuel efficiency, maintain compliance with evolving environmental regulations and enhance operational predictability.
The move reflects broader industry efforts to digitize fleet operations and reduce emissions as operators face increasing regulatory and cost pressures. Kongsberg Maritime said it plans to expand the unified portfolio through 2026 with additional solution areas supporting other vessel segments and operational requirements.
