Norske Shell awards AGR workforce contract for Ormen Lange operations
(WO) — AGR has been awarded a framework agreement by A/S Norske Shell to provide specialist personnel supporting onshore and offshore operations for the Ormen Lange gas field on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
The agreement covers the supply of project personnel, long-term workforce and technical consultants across drilling and wells, well planning, well intervention, offshore management, superintendents and well engineering advisory services.
The framework agreement has an initial term of four years, with options to extend for two additional two-year periods.
"We provide specialist competence and additional resourcing capacity to energy companies when and where they need it," said Thomas Veseth Saue, manager of AGR Consultancy's Norwegian operations. "The award builds on our long-established relationship and is a recognition of the competence of AGR consultants and the delivery capabilities of our recruitment team."
AGR said its Norwegian technical staffing business combines the capabilities of AGR Consultancy, Ross Offshore and Techconsult, providing access to a network of more than 26,000 technical professionals supporting offshore energy operations.
AGR is part of Oslo-listed energy and marine consultancy group Aqualis ASA.
