Expro wins U.S. Gulf subsea services contract extension

June 04, 2026

(WO) — Expro has secured a contract extension of up to five years with a major operator to continue providing subsea completion and intervention services in the Gulf of America/Gulf of Mexico.

Solus™ - Expro’s Shear and Seal Valve

The agreement includes deployment of Expro's Solus™ Shear and Seal Valve technology, which is designed to provide an additional layer of well integrity protection during subsea operations.

Under the contract, Expro will deliver Subsea Landing String Services, supporting offshore well completion and intervention activities. The work will be executed through the company's North and Latin America operations, drawing on its subsea well access capabilities developed across the region.

The contract follows a long-standing relationship between the two companies and builds on previous subsea projects in the Gulf of America.

“This contract represents the continued strength of our long-term relationship with the operator and underlines their confidence in Expro's subsea capabilities,” said Daniel More, Vice President of Subsea Well Access at Expro.

Expro said the Solus technology will be incorporated into future offshore operations under the agreement. The valve is designed to enhance safety and operational reliability during subsea completion and intervention activities in deepwater environments.

The new contract extends Expro's presence in one of the world's most active offshore regions, where operators continue to advance deepwater development and subsea well programs.
