The contract covers engineering, maintenance and operational support for the new West White Rose platform and the SeaRose floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel, which together form the core of the White Rose development.

"We will apply our multidisciplinary Project Execution Model to deliver safe, predictable and cost-efficient operations for our customers," said Paal Eikeseth, executive vice president and head of Aker Solutions' Life Cycle business.

Aker Solutions has supported the White Rose field since 2005, providing offshore engineering services that have included the tow-out and installation of the West White Rose concrete gravity structure, as well as onshore commissioning and offshore hookup activities. The West White Rose platform is expected to begin production later this year.

The company has also delivered EPCM services for the SeaRose FPSO since 2005, including engineering, procurement and work preparation for the vessel's life extension drydock campaign completed in 2024.

The new contract will be managed from Aker Solutions' office in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, with approximately 120 onshore and offshore personnel supporting the work.

"Aker Solutions has delivered multidisciplinary services in the East Coast region for more than 30 years," Eikeseth said. "We value our long-standing collaboration with Cenovus Energy and are proud to continue supporting the White Rose development as Canada remains a key market for us."

The agreement will be booked as second-quarter 2026 order intake within Aker Solutions' Life Cycle business segment.
