TechnipFMC to supply flexible flowlines, risers for Angola deepwater project
(WO) — TechnipFMC has secured a significant contract from Azule Energy to supply flexible flowlines and risers for the Greater PAJ development offshore Angola.
Under the award, TechnipFMC will design and manufacture flexible pipe systems to connect deepwater wells to a new floating production unit. The project will involve subsea infrastructure operating in water depths approaching 2,000 m.
The contract builds on TechnipFMC's experience supporting deepwater developments in Angola and across West Africa, where flexible pipe technology has become a key component of subsea field developments.
"This award builds on expertise we have developed on large, deepwater projects in the region, including our proven flexible pipe technology," said Jonathan Landes, President of Subsea at TechnipFMC. "We are proud to be chosen to deliver a technically robust solution on an accelerated timeframe that creates value for our client."
TechnipFMC classifies the award as a "significant" contract, valued between $75 million and $250 million. The order will be included in the company's second-quarter 2026 inbound orders.
Azule Energy, Angola's largest independent oil and gas producer, continues to advance the Greater PAJ project as part of broader efforts to develop the country's deepwater resources and sustain offshore production growth.
