Kent expands Angola presence with CABGOC construction services award
(WO) — Kent has been awarded a contract by Cabinda Gulf Oil Company (CABGOC) to provide construction management services in Angola, expanding its support of the operator's ongoing energy projects in the country.
Under the agreement, Kent will deliver integrated construction management services, including supervision and coordination of on-site construction activities and field execution support across CABGOC's operations.
The scope includes support for mechanical, electrical and instrumentation work, fabrication activities and project planning, with a focus on maintaining safe and efficient project execution.
The company said it will deploy a workforce that combines local personnel with international expertise and will incorporate training and skills development initiatives aimed at strengthening local workforce capabilities.
“Being awarded this contract by CABGOC is a testament to the strength of our relationship and our shared focus on safe, efficient project delivery,” said Iain Eddie, executive vice president, EMEA & APAC, at Kent. “We are proud to support this project with our construction management expertise and look forward to delivering excellence while creating lasting value locally.”
Kent said the award builds on its existing relationship with CABGOC and supports the company's continued growth in construction management and asset support services across the global energy sector.
