EZOps launches AI-powered task automation for oilfield operations
(WO) — EZOps has launched a new artificial intelligence feature designed to streamline task creation and field data capture across oilfield operations.
The new tool, called EZTasks.ai, is integrated into the company’s mobile oilfield management platform and allows field personnel to generate operational tasks using voice input, copied text, uploaded documents and field images.
According to EZOps, the feature is intended to reduce manual administrative work and improve real-time data capture for field crews operating at wellsites, lease roads and remote production locations.
The platform can convert spoken observations, emails, inspection reports, photos and other unstructured information into suggested operational tasks within the system.
“Field teams are busier than ever, and the last thing they need is a cumbersome data entry process standing between them and the work at hand,” said Tracy Gray, vice president of EZOps.
The company said the AI capability was developed in collaboration with its Customer Advisory Board, which includes representatives from operators and service companies across drilling, completions and production sectors.
EZOps said the launch marks the first in a broader series of AI-focused platform enhancements planned for 2026 as operators continue increasing focus on automation, operational efficiency and digital oilfield workflows.
The feature is currently available to EZOps customers in the United States and Canada through the company’s mobile and desktop platform offerings.
