MaverickX expands PetroX production with new Eagle Ford facility in Texas
(WO) - MaverickX has brought a new production facility online in Pleasanton, Texas, expanding output of its PetroX chemical solutions used in oilfield operations, including enhanced oil recovery (EOR), water treatment and metals removal.
The 10,000-sq-ft facility began operations in January and is located near activity in the Eagle Ford shale, allowing for shorter delivery times and reduced transportation costs to regional operators. The site has reached its initial production capacity as demand for PetroX products increases.
The company said the facility supports production of its full PetroX product line, which is used for applications such as sludge remediation, scale removal, paraffin inhibition and treatment of produced water for reuse. The chemistry is designed to provide an alternative to conventional treatments while supporting operational efficiency.
At full capacity, the facility is expected to produce approximately 14 million liters annually. MaverickX is in the process of expanding throughput, with additional reactor capacity under installation. The company said the site could scale to significantly higher output as operations are optimized.
MaverickX currently employs seven workers at the facility and expects to add additional staff as production ramps up.
The Pleasanton site is part of a broader growth strategy targeting increased demand for oilfield chemical solutions in South Texas and other U.S. basins, including the Permian. The company is also evaluating additional production locations to support future expansion.
