Mental health services expand into Middle East to support offshore energy workforce

April 21, 2026

(WO) - A specialist provider of workforce wellbeing services is expanding into the Middle East, targeting offshore and high-risk energy operations with a focus on behavioral risk and safety culture.

IntrospeXion, a UK-based consultancy founded in 2024, said it has secured new contracts in the region and will deliver mental health and wellbeing support tailored to energy sector personnel. The company’s services include on-site support hubs, workforce assessments, and leadership coaching aimed at improving decision-making and operational resilience.

The expansion reflects a broader industry shift toward integrating mental health into traditional health, safety and environmental (HSE) frameworks—particularly in offshore and remote environments where workers face extended rotations, high-pressure conditions and elevated risk exposure.

In addition to providing direct support services, the company will work with regional operators and supply chain partners to assess behavioral risk factors and strengthen safety culture across organizations.

“Employee wellbeing isn’t limited to physical risks; it requires a holistic approach that includes mental health,” said founder and Managing Director Shabnum Hanif.

As operators continue to prioritize safety performance and workforce retention, mental health support is increasingly being viewed as a component of operational efficiency and risk mitigation, particularly in complex offshore environments.
