Chevron appoints HSE chief, reshuffles refinery leadership roles

March 31, 2026

(WO) - Chevron has appointed Daniel Woodall as chief health, safety and environment (HSE) officer, effective May 1, 2026, as part of a broader leadership update aimed at reinforcing operational performance and safety across its global portfolio.

Woodall, who has more than 25 years of experience with the company, currently serves as director of operations and maintenance for Chevron Australia and has held roles across both upstream and downstream businesses.

Current HSE chief Marissa Badenhorst will transition to lead Chevron’s Pascagoula and Pasadena refineries, overseeing operations, safety and workforce engagement. The Pascagoula facility is the company’s largest wholly owned refinery.

Badenhorst will succeed Tim Potter, who is retiring after 36 years with the company.

Chevron said the leadership changes support its continued focus on safe and reliable operations.
