(WO) - Subsea7 has been awarded a substantial contract by Chevron for subsea installation work in the Eastern Mediterranean, reinforcing the contractor’s presence in the region and its long-standing relationship with the operator.
The scope of work includes the transportation and installation of approximately 17 km of subsea flowlines and umbilicals to support an offshore development. Subsea7 defines a substantial contract as being valued between $150 million and $300 million.
Project management and engineering activities will begin immediately and will be managed from Subsea7’s Paris office. Offshore installation activities are scheduled to start in first-quarter 2028.
The award builds on previous collaboration between Subsea7 and Chevron across multiple offshore regions, including West Africa, Australia and the U.S., and reflects continued investment in subsea infrastructure to advance offshore developments in the Eastern Mediterranean.
