GMS awarded two-vessel contract offshore Europe, expands backlog to $540 million
Gulf Marine Services (GMS) has been awarded a new contract covering two of its Large-class self-propelled, self-elevating support vessels in Europe. The agreement spans a total of 985 days and will see the assets continue supporting offshore operations across the region.
With this award, GMS’s contracted backlog increases to USD 540 million. Executive Chairman Mansour Al Alami said the win reflects strong, sustained demand for the company’s fleet and its ability to provide reliable and cost-efficient offshore support solutions.
GMS operates a fleet of 13 SESVs capable of platform refurbishment, well intervention, offshore wind support, installation and decommissioning work across the Middle East, Europe, West Africa and North America.
