Aker BP to drill wildcat exploration well offshore Norway
(WO) – On Monday, March 25, the Norwegian Offshore Directorate announced that it has granted Aker BP a drilling permit for exploration well 24/6-5 in production license 203 in Norwegian North Sea.
Nobel Integrator
According to the Norwegian Offshore Directorate, the wildcat well will be drilled the Nobel Integrator jack-up rig, with activity expected to begin in April 2024. License holders include Aker BP (80% interest) and ConocoPhillips (20% interest).
