Energy Workforce & Technology Council CEO applauds SCOTUS decision in WVA vs EPA
Houston – Energy Workforce & Technology Council CEO Leslie Beyer released the following statement on the Supreme Court ruling in WVA vs EPA that limits EPA’s authority to regulate greenhouse gases from power plants.
“We applaud the ruling today by the Supreme Court that reigns in regulatory authorities of government agencies that are not expressly outlined through Congressional statute. While we support reasonable regulation that allows for reliable and affordable energy production, use of the regulatory process to specifically target one industry is overreach.”
