House Energy Action Team provides energy solutions
WASHINGTON – National Ocean Industries Association President Erik Milito issued the following statement regarding the House Energy Action Team (HEAT) letter to Secretary Bernhardt on energy relief:
“The Gulf of Mexico is a major source of energy and economic security for the U.S. But the region has been hit hard by the one-two punch of COVID-19 and the Saudi Arabia-Russia oil price war. Offshore energy companies – and the hundreds of thousands of workers they employ – need action. We thank the members who signed this letter for advocating for jobs and domestic energy security.”
“Companies want to do business in the Gulf, and businesses in all 50 states are part of this community, but they need support. NOIA applauds the leadership by HEAT and encourages sustained action by President Trump and Congress.”
