Sodexo announces management changes

Simon Seaton has been appointed Sodexo’s CEO, Energy & Resources Worldwide, also joining the Sodexo Group executive committee. He is based in Houston. Seaton joined Sodexo in 2012 as COO for the Remote Sites Western Region, running operations in U.S. shale markets, Alaska, California, the Gulf of Mexico and four North Sea countries. In 2015, he was appointed CEO of Onshore Energy Worldwide and in 2017, was entrusted with the additional responsibility to lead Sodexo’s Middle East operations, managing Sodexo’s business and Joint Ventures in nine countries across the region. He has been a member of SPE for more than 20 years and holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Wales in 1990. Driving exemplary health & safety performance, achieving gender-balanced leadership teams and championing First Nation / Indigenous People relationships distinguish Simon’s track record. Prior to Sodexo, Simon held operations, marketing and technology positions with Halliburton for 22 years.

Tracy Gray has been appointed director, strategic planning- mining and engineering & construction projects, for Sodexo’s Energy & Resources division. Tracy joins Sodexo with more than 20 years of experience in the oil & gas industry across a broad range of disciplines including Marketing, Human Capital Strategy, Workforce Planning, Process / Quality Improvement and PMO Management. She joins from Halliburton where she held various managerial positions for 13 years and has also worked for Shell. In her role, Tracy will support the Global Mining and Engineering & Construction Projects sub-segment leaders of the Energy and Resources Division to define and execute their strategic plans and ensure alignment and reporting for key strategic projects and initiatives. In addition to her technical skills, Tracy’s proven track record in global, deadline-driven environments, commitment to diversity & inclusion, and her leadership in advancing women’s issues in the oil and gas industry will all be valuable assets to the Sodexo organization. She is based in Houston.
