NPD reports June production figures below forecast

STAVANGER -- Preliminary production figures for June 2019 show an average daily production of 1,409,000 bbl of oil, NGL and condensate, which is a decrease of 184,000 bpd compared to May. Total gas sales were 9.4 Bscm, which is a decrease from the previous month.

Average daily liquids production in June was: 1,067,000 bbl of oil, 315,000 bbl of NGL and 28,000 bbl of condensate. Oil production in June is 10% lower than the NPD’s forecast, and 3.4% below the forecast so far this year.

The main reasons that production in June was below forecast is technical problems and maintenance work on some fields.

The total petroleum production for the first six months in 2019 is about 109.6 MMscme.
