LAGCOE 2019 issues call for speakers

LAFAYETTE, La. -- The LAGCOE 2019 Conference Committee is now accepting speaker applications for consideration for its biennial conference and exposition to be held Oct. 9-11, 2019 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, La. The theme for LAGCOE 2019 is “The Future of Energy Starts Here.”

“We are committed to providing a diverse slate of speakers and topics to our exhibitions and conferences that bring together the great minds of our industry,” states LAGCOE 2019 Conference Chairman Susan Frizzell. “The future of energy starts with curiosity and the exchange of ideas.”

LAGCOE 2019 plans to include more than forty (40) one-hour technical sessions and presentations by industry leaders, as well as a distinct array of companies showcasing their products and services on the exhibit floor.

Session presentation criteria:

  1. Presentation should fill, but not exceed, a 1-hour session.
  2. Topics should be significant to any sector of the energy industry and relevant to the current market.
  3. Credit to your organization is allowed but should be limited to no more than 5 minutes of your presentation. Sales pitches are not acceptable presentations.
  4. The main audience must be energy industry personnel.

There is no cost to apply or participate. Applicants selected will be notified by May 31, 2019, at which time further instructions will be provided. Presentation must be prepared in PowerPoint format and submitted electronically prior to the event dates (may consist of slides and/or video if applicable). Click here to apply.
