Neptune Energy appoints CIO

LONDON -- Neptune Energy has announced the appointment of Kaveh Pourteymour as Chief Information Officer, based in London. He will take up the new role in the first half of 2019.

Mr. Pourteymour is currently V.P. and CIO of Seadrill Management. Prior to joining Seadrill, he held CIO roles with BP’s global refining and international businesses and with BOC Edwards. He has also held roles with KPMG and Oracle.

Mr. Pourteymour holds a BSc in computer science from Manchester University and an MSc in IT strategic planning from Warwick University, where he also served as a research fellow for a number of years. Since 2008 has he held the position of adjunct professor at the business school of Imperial College London.
