ONS: NCS still global innovative laboratory

August 29, 2018

STAVANGER -- Come visit ONS Innovation Park 2018 to learn more about the latest technical solutions. The stand gathers 18 small- and medium-sized Norwegian companies, exhibiting new and exciting innovations primarily tailored to increase value creation on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).

All of these companies have been co-funded by The Norwegian Research Council, and although technologies are primarily targeted and tested on the NCS, the innovations and new solutions are highly applicable for international activities. Hence, the NCS remains a laboratory for the global oil and gas industries.,

An increased focus on cost efficiencies, coupled with stringent focus on environmentally smart solutions, drives companies to innovate.

And leaving us with no doubt, the companies exhibiting at the Innovation Park develop unique, smart solutions.

As many as four of the 18 companies have been nominated for the ONS Innovation award. These are ISPAS, Solution Seeker, Tomax og Interwell P&A.

The candidates and winners of the ONS Innovation Award are nominated and selected by an independent, external jury consisting of high level and experienced industry representatives.

Come join us at the ONS Innovation Park to see what the future of technology and innovation holds in store. And make sure to be there on Tuesday 28. August when the winners of the 2018 Innovation award are announced.
