Rod Starr assumes role as CEO of Polarcus
DUBAI -- Rod Starr has now assumed the role of CEO of Polarcus, the company has confirmed.
Commenting on his appointment, Starr said, "Since its launch in 2008, Polarcus has attracted exceptional talent and taken enormous strides in a highly competitive industry. The company has quickly earned a reputation for exceptional service quality while setting the benchmark for environmental leadership within the sector. The market environment today is clearly challenging, and I am looking forward to meeting all of our stakeholders and leading the company through the current cycle for the next phase of growth."
Starr has over 30 years industry experience, starting his career with Unocal where he spent 16 years in various planning and financial roles before moving into the oil services sector where he has held senior sales, business development, marketing and managerial positions.
Prior to joining Polarcus, Starr worked for TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company where he held several senior management positions worldwide, most recently as senior V.P., Western Hemisphere.
