Alex Goude has joined EnerMech as business development director for Europe. His focus will be on leveraging EnerMech’s engineering expertise to expand the company’s position in the energy and infrastructure markets across the region.

David G. Christmas has been named CEO of Fluid Delivery Solutions, LLC, an oilfield water management company with operations across the Permian, Eagle Ford, Mid Continent, Marcellus and Utica basins. “We are excited to have Dave join the leadership team at FDS at this critical juncture in the company’s growth, and believe his decades-long career at Schlumberger, including his most recent experience leading its Permian basin operations, uniquely position him to help drive value for all stakeholders,” said Dick Alario, executive chairman of FDS’s board of directors.

The American Petroleum Institute announced the addition of Shannon DiBari, Rhonda Bentz and Bianca Domally to the organization’s senior staff. DiBari has joined as senior advisor to president and CEO Mike Sommers, and Executive Vice President and COO Amanda Eversole. Bentz has joined as director of strategic initiatives and paid media, while Domally has joined as financial controller. The new talent follows API’s announcement last month of Paul Afonso, who joins API as chief legal officer and vice president. “All three of these leaders are known for excellence in strategic and operational management,” said Sommers.

Tiger Rentals announced the appointment of Paulo Silva Curto as business development manager for the Middle East. Silva Curto has over 15 years’ experience working in international business, most of them within the global upstream sector of the oil and gas industry, in various senior management and commercial roles. Most recently, he was Tiger’s general manager for Sub-Saharan Africa. He is based in Bahrain and is focused on regional business development activities, including commercial and customer strategy.

Winegard Company, a manufacturer of two-way communication and VSAT products for the drilling industry, has named Sherman Su as the company’s new director of global sales – networks. Su is responsible for team leadership, driving revenue, monitoring industry trends, developing partner strategies, and providing customer and partner insights for Winegard product development.

AFBE-UK Scotland chair Dr. Ollie Folayan has been appointed to the new OGUK diversity and inclusion task group, set up to champion diversity and inclusion in the oil and gas industry. The group is set to convene regularly with the aim of reinforcing the business case for greater diversity and inclusion in the oil and gas industry, establishing a benchmark for diversity and inclusion, and improving the image of the sector as a career destination which embraces a culture of diversity and inclusion.

Martin Wiese has been named to lead the protective and industrial business areas for worldwide coatings manufacturer Hempel. These two business segments deliver around half of Hempel’s total turnover, and this senior appointment is part of Hempel’s long-term growth strategy. Hempel’s protective and industrial business areas cover wind power, infrastructure, oil & gas and thermal power areas. Wiese has the overall responsibility for driving these businesses further on a global scale.

Patrick D. Traylor, the former deputy assistant administrator for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance (OECA), has joined Vinson & Elkins as a partner in Washington, D.C. Traylor focuses his practice on civil environmental litigation and compliance investigations under all the major federal environmental programs, particularly under the Clean Air Act. Traylor also assists clients with securing project-critical state and federal permits for the construction and expansion of complex facilities.

Neptune Energy has appointed Pete Jones as VP of operations for Europe. He has been managing director of Neptune’s UK business. Jones joined Neptune in August 2018 and has overseen the growth of the UK business, including the sanctioning and development of its Seagull project, which is due for first production in 2021.

Element Materials Technology announced that current CFO, Jo Wetz, will succeed Charles Noall as Element’s CEO from Dec. 31, 2019.  This follows Noall’s decision to retire from his executive role after 17 years leading the group. In his previous role as an investor at 3i, Wetz, alongside Noall, led the original buyout of Element in 2010 before joining the Group in 2012 as CFO.

HES International has appointed Daan Vos as CEO and chairman of the executive board. John Bruen and Philippe Camu, members of the supervisory board of HES International, said, “We are excited to announce the appointment of Vos to lead HES International through the next phase of its development and growth. He will work together with the other members of the executive board to build on HES International’s position as a leading independent bulk terminals business in Europe, with a focus on delivering long-term, sustainable growth.”

Louise Öfverström is to become chief financial officer of Power Systems, the Rolls-Royce business unit, from Jan. 1, 2020, also serving as a member of the board with responsibility for finance of Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG. Öfverström is currently head of controlling, accounting & risk at Thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG in Duisburg, Germany. In a professional career spanning more than 20 years, she has accumulated considerable experience in finance, control, risk management and business restructuring.

Rose Boxx has joined Taylor International as international business development manager.  Hal Nowell, director of sales said “We are excited to have Rose Boxx join our team.  Rose’s outstanding record and determination as director of the State of Mississippi’s International Trade and Affairs Office will be a driving force in the future businesses developments of Taylor International.”

Ducatus Partners, the global executive search and leadership consulting firm serving the energy, private equity and infrastructure industries, has bolstered its expanding North American team with the appointment of a new partner, Jason Miller. Miller has more than 23 years of international oil and gas experience with 16 years’ working in the offshore energy sector. Until recently, he was vice president, Americas, with Ampelmann Operations following his time as president and CEO of X-Subsea Precision Dredging and Excavation.

Niels Meissner has been named executive vice president at 3T Energy Group. In his role, Meissner is responsible for expanding the group’s global reach in key oil and gas territories, including the Americas, China, the Middle East and Africa, as well as strengthening existing customer relationships. Prior to joining 3T, Meissner served as the vice president of business development and marketing at global drilling solutions company MHWirth.
