Energean Oil & Gas PLC has appointed Iman Hill as COO.

Energean Oil & Gas PLC has appointed Iman Hill as COO. She is a petroleum engineer with over 30 years of industry experience. Prior to joining the company, Hill was the technical director, GM UAE, and president, Egypt, for Dana Gas PJSC. Prior to this, she worked at BG Group as senior V.P., developments and operations.

Oil & Gas UK has appointed a team of decommissioning experts to serve the growing needs of its members and key stakeholders. The Aberdeen-based trio comprises Richard Heard, decommissioning consultant; Sam George, decommissioning business adviser; and Joe Leask decommissioning manager, who will lead the group. The team will focus on providing insight into the shifting decommissioning landscape and the opportunities that it presents to the industry’s world-class supply chain.

Steve Mitchell has been appointed operations director at ASCO, where he will be a member of the leadership team, based in Aberdeen, Scotland. Mitchell brings 34 years of industry experience to the role. Previously, he held senior level positions with Chevron, Oryx Energy, Kerr-McGee and Maersk Oil, where he held the role of global head of logistics.

TUV SUD NEL, the flow measurement R&D specialist, has appointed Anna Pieper as multiphase flow leader. As a globally renowned expert, Pieper’s appointment will consolidate the organization’s multiphase testing and research capability.

Tendeka has appointed Davor Saric as its technology director. Prior to this, Saric held senior production technologist roles with Baker Hughes, a GE company, Schlumberger, and Axis Well Technology. He brings 25 years of industry experience to the role, and will be based in Scotland.

Airswift has made two strategic appointments. Albert Kahlow has been named regional director, Middle East, and Peter Denham has been named regional director, Europe. Kahlow joined the company over eight years ago, and previously served as director, UAE and Iraq. He will be based in the company’s Dubai office. Denham joined the company six years ago, and previously served as strategic account manager, and business development director, Europe. He will be based in the Manchester office.

SM Energy Company has selected Carla J. Bailo as director. Bailo will serve as an independent director, and as a member of the audit committee. Prior to this, she served as senior V.P., R&D Americas, for Nissan North America, Inc. Bailo currently serves as the CEO for the Center for Automotive Research.

The Oil & Gas Technology Centre has appointed Russell Stevenson as industrial director. He will lead the creation of two new national research and development centers, based in Scotland. A chartered engineer, Stevenson joins the center following a 25-year career at Amec Foster Wheeler.

Tsunehisa Suita has assumed the role of CEO at LEWA Group in Leonberg, Germany, replacing former CEO Peter Wagner and former CFO Hisanao Amino. Suita brings 30 years of experience to the role, and previously held several key positions at NIKKISO Co., Ltd, LEWA’s parent company. Wagner and Amino are transferring to the American corporate group Cryogenic Industries, also owned by NIKKISO Co. Ltd.

ValTek Industries, Inc., has selected Shane Hamilton, the company’s current CEO, as chairman. In addition, Christopher (Chris) Hibbert has been selected as president. Hibbert brings nearly 20 years of industry experience to the role, most recently as V.P., sales & service, at Weir Oil & Gas. Prior to this, he served as V.P. at Lincoln Manufacturing, Inc., and held various progressive positions at Schlumberger and SFI Financial.

Reid Lifting has appointed David Underhill as business development manager. He brings more than a decade of experience in sales to the role. Prior to this, Underhill was responsible for the UK, Scandinavia, Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia, at Holmbury Ltd.

The board of directors of EMGS has named Bjørn Petter Lindhom to interim CEO, effective fourth-quarter 2018. He joined EMGS in 2003, where he has held a number of technical and commercial positions, and currently serves as business unit president, North and South America Region.

Neptune Energy has named Odin Estensen as managing director of its Norwegian business, based in Stavanger. Prior to this, Estensen served as the Norway operated asset manager at A/S Norske Shell. He brings more than 28 years of industry experience to the role. Anne Botne, interim country director, Norway, will remain with the company and fully resume her head of legal responsibilities.

Amazing Energy Oil and Gas has made changes to its leadership team. Current President and Chairman of the Board Jed Miesner has transitioned to acquisition manager. In addition, Director Tony Alford has been named chairman of the board. Alford brings over 30 years of executive leadership experience to the role, including as founder and president of PBA Consultants and Alford & Associates.

Perma-Pipe International Holdings, Inc., has made changes to its executive team, including the appointment of D.Bryan Norwood as V.P. and CFO. Previously, Norwood served as CFO for several industry service firms. He will replace long time financial executive Karl J. Schmidt, who is retiring.

UTEC, a global surveying company in subsea services group Acteon, has appointed Jon Beatty to lead its Geomarine business unit as managing director. In addition, long-term employee Greg Hammond has been named to head the StarNet business unit
as director.

ConocoPhillips has elected Admiral William H. McRaven to serve as a board member. McRaven, who retired from the U.S. Navy in 2014 after a 37-year career, previously advised two U.S. Presidents, as well as other leaders, on defense issues and foreign policy. In addition, he served as chancellor of the University of Texas System.

API has named Bill Koetzle as V.P., federal affairs. Most recently, Koetzle served as manager of federal government affairs for Chevron Corporation, for 10 years. Prior to this, he served in several energy/commerce congressional roles in Illinois, beginning in 1998.

Security consultantcy, Restrata, has appointed Morgan Rees to the newly created role of global head of monitoring and response. He will be responsible for new products and expanding the company’s service offering globally. Rees will bring his extensive experience gained from various senior and advisory roles within the technology, offshore, maritime, and travel risk management industries to the company.

Simon Akit, P.Eng., has been appointed to the board of directors of Saturn Oil & Gas. In addition, Akit is managing director and global head of energy sales, with Canaccord Genuity. He brings over 20 years of industry and capital markets experience to the firm.
