Bill Way, previously president and COO, has been named president and CEO of Southwestern Energy Company. He succeeds Steve Mueller, who will continue to serve as a director and non-executive chairman of the board until his retirement in May. Additionally, Way has been elected to the company’s board of directors. He previously held various senior leadership and technical positions at ConocoPhillips.

Samir Brikho has stepped down as CEO of Amec Foster Wheeler. Ian McHoul, CFO, is serving as interim CEO. Additionally, McHoul will chair the Group Leadership Team, while the company undergoes its search for a new CEO. The company plans to consider both internal and external candidates for the position. McHoul has not expressed interest in pursuing the role.

Jürgen Kuntz has been appointed to head of Asia Desk, by SAL Heavy Lift. Originally, he opened the first overseas office for the company in Shanghai, followed by another office in Beijing. With 15 years of experience in China, Kuntz will continue to strengthen business in Asia, expanding key client relationships and developing new business opportunities.

OPITO International has appointed Richard Edwards to approvals manager. He will help drive adoption of common global safety training standards across the Americas. Based in Houston, Edwards will use his experience as a former HSE safety training instructor.

GE Energy Management has named two new commercial leaders. Darryl L. Wilson has been named V.P. and chief commercial officer (CCO). Based in Houston, he will hold global responsibility for sales and marketing across the Energy Management portfolio. Additionally, Agostino Renna will serve as the new CCO for the industrial solutions business. He will be based in Atlanta, Ga. Wilson and Renna will focus on delivering solutions to meet customer and industry challenges in the 150 countries that Energy Management operates.

Oceaneering International, Inc., has appointed Martin J. McDonald as senior V.P. of ROVs, with global responsibility for the company’s ROV business. With 26 years of experience at the company, McDonald most recently served as V.P. and general manager of ROV operations in the Eastern Hemisphere. His predecessor, Kevin F. Kerins, has been named senior V.P. of underwater vehicle technologies, and will now manage the company’s initiatives to develop future ROV and AUV capabilities.

Delmar Systems has added two new team members to their Perth office. Mark Mithran joins the company as lead marine engineer. With considerable offshore mooring experience, Mithran specializes in offshore engineering. Gopi Chillamcharla has been named AU technical manager. Also specializing in offshore engineering, Chillamcharla brings extensive experience, working in the mooring and offshore construction industry.

Nicolas Parsloe has been named chairman and CEO of DORIS Engineering. He succeeds Loïc des Déserts. Parsloe has been with the company since 1983, and has held various positions, including operations manager, technical manager for surface production facilities, and scientific and research development manager.

David Langley has been named North American HSE manager at Borets. Based at the U.S. corporate office in Houston, Langley will develop and implement safety programs and policies that align with the company’s corporate standards for health, safety and environmental compliance.

Suttons Group has appointed Graeme McFaull to chairman. He succeeds Michael Sutton, who passed away last May. McFaull previously served as CEO of Wincanton Plc. He is a chartered management accountant and has spent much of his career in senior finance roles.

Genesis RTS has added three executives to its senior leadership team. Barry Schneider has been named director of product development; Nathan Zenero has been appointed director of quality and integration; and Yarko Sos has been named business development strategic advisor. These executive appointments bring a wealth of knowledge and experience, in data-intense operations, drilling optimization processes and performance development in the field, to their new positions.

McDermott International, Inc., has appointed Kathy Murray to V.P. and treasurer, with additional responsibility for investor relations. Murray will support all company stakeholders. Her background in U.S. and foreign tax compliance, audit, planning, financial statement reporting and limited partnerships, will allow her to manage company results in the global energy market.

The U.S. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has named Mike Celata to regional director of the Gulf of Mexico Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) region. Effective immediately, Celata will be responsible for the region’s 4,600 active leases over 25 million acres of land on the OCS. He has held various positions with the agency and its predecessors over the past 27 years, but began his career as a geophysicist with Exxon in 1984.

Michael S. Bahorich has been appointed to SIGMA3’s newly formed advisory board. Bahorich brings a wealth of experience to the executive management team. He retired as executive V.P. and chief technology officer of Apache Corp. in 2015, culminating more than 18 years of service to the company, including executive V.P. of E&P technology, V.P. of exploration technology and chief geophysicist. Prior to joining Apache, he served as exploration manager at Amoco. He holds multiple patents for geophysical technology and fracture stimulation.

Kurt Abraham has been promoted to editor of World Oil magazine. Previously, he was the magazine’s executive editor, having served in that role since late 2011. Abraham has 31 years of oil-and-gas industry and trade association experience, having served as V.P. for a large producers association for more than four years. In addition to magazines, he has served in editorial/news roles in the other three major media—newspapers, radio and television. He is a member of NOMADS (former president, 2006), several Offshore Energy Center committees, and the Supply & Demand Committee of IPAA.

Oil and gas consulting company, io, has named Jeff Measamer as general manager of Americas, where he will lead the company’s expansion within the region. Ed Hernandez has been appointed V.P. of operations. He has more than 20 years of experience. Additionally, Jerry Toth has been named director of business development. He has more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and business development.

Paul Danos, executive V.P. of Danos, has been elected to serve on the board of directors for the National Ocean Industries Association (NOIA). Experienced in a variety of industry segments, Danos leads the company’s strategic planning, business development, and sales and marketing efforts. He previously worked in operations, disaster response and recovery, and offshore construction and fabrication for the company.
