Halliburton has reappointed Mark McCollum as executive V.P. and CFO, effective immediately. Christian Garcia, who held McCollum’s position on an interim basis, will resume his role as senior V.P. of finance until his retirement in August. Additionally, the company has named William Albrecht as its newest board member. With more than 35 years of industry experience, Albrecht presently serves as non-executive chairman of the board of California Resources Corp. He will stand for election by stockholders at the annual meeting in May 2017.

AccessESP has appointed Ed Sheridan as manager of the Asia-Pacific region. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, he will be tasked with increasing market share in the region. Previously, Sheridan worked at Baker Hughes Artificial Lift in the UK, where he held a variety of sales, technical and operational positions. Most recently, he served as AccessESP’s product line manager for Southeast Asia, Indonesia and Australia.

The board of directors of Nigeria LNG Limited has named Tony Attah as managing director and CEO, succeeding Babs Omotowa. After nearly five years, Omotowa is returning to Shell International. Prior to his appointment, Attah served as managing director of Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Co. He brings 28 years of industry experience to his new position.

Dan Rodgers has been appointed as V.P. of sales and marketing at Zahroof Valves, Inc. He brings 15 years of compression industry experience, with a heavy focus on customer service and commercial operations, to his new role. Rodgers most recently worked for GE Oil & Gas, where he held numerous senior management positions.

Graham Cooper has been named commercial director at Zennor Petroleum. He has significant industry experience, having held positions at Shell and, most recently, EnQuest PLC. At EnQuest, Cooper served as head of business development. Also, he previously served on Ascent Resources’ board as a non-executive director.

Christian Brown has been named corporate development officer at SNC-Lavalin, a newly created position that will see Brown drive business development, and manage M&A transactions. He will continue to serve on the executive committee. Martin Adler will succeed Brown as president, Oil & Gas. Adler joins the company from Seafox Contractors, where he was CEO and a board member. He brings 25 years of industry experience to his new role. Both Brown and Adler’s appointments are effective Aug. 15, 2016.

AIRIS Wellsite Services has named Brendan Ryan as CEO. He will lead the development and execution of the company’s long-term business strategy. He has more than 30 years of industry experience and has held various roles, including management of operations, sales and marketing development, M&A and corporate strategy.

Tom Broom has been hired as executive account manager at Danos, where he will oversee and maintain the company’s long-term relationship with Shell. After 35 years with Shell—having served most recently as director of coastal issues for Shell Exploration & Production Co.—Broom will draw on his experience and industry knowledge to provide strategic guidance for the partnership.

Cobalt International Energy has named David Powell as CFO and executive V.P., succeeding Shannon Young. He previously served as CFO for BHP Billiton-Petroleum, where he was responsible for the company’s finance, accounting, commercial assurance, supply chain and information technology activities. Powell has more than 35 years of industry experience and has held leadership positions in the U.S., as well as Argentina, Russia, Malaysia and Qatar. Powell’s appointment was effective on July 8.

Alaska Governor Bill Walker has appointed John Hendrix as chief oil and gas advisor. Hendrix had previously served as general manager of Apache Alaska. Additionally, he has extensive industry experience through his work consulting industry managing directors, oil ministers and the World Bank. Hendrix began his career at Schlumberger Oilfield Services. He later joined BP, where he held several engineering and managerial positions in Alaska, Russia and the
UK. He also served as a board member and V.P. of the Alaska Oil and Gas Association.

Maersk Group has appointed Søren Skou as CEO of A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S, succeeding Nils Andersen. Skou has been employed by the company since 1983 and has served as a member of the executive board since 2006. In 2012, he was appointed CEO of Maersk Line. Skou will remain in this position, in addition to his new role. The appointment was effective on July 1.

White Star Petroleum has hired several key members to its management team. Jeffrey Zanotti has been hired as the company’s senior V.P., general counsel and secretary, and Caleb Morgret has been named CFO. Most recently, Morgret served as V.P. and treasurer for Chesapeake Energy, and Zanotti left his position as assistant general counsel and assistant secretary at Seventy Seven Energy, Inc. Additionally, Richard Pollot has been named chief accounting officer. He previously worked for Mustang Fuel Corp., as well as for Ernst & Young, LLP.

Alan Snider has been appointed president and COO at Laney Directional Drilling. For more than 26 years, Snider has been designing and managing complex, horizontal directional drilling (HDD) and direct pipe (DP) projects for pipeline crossings. Since joining the company in 2011, Snider has served as V.P. of engineering and project management. In his new role, he will manage the company’s engineering, sales and marketing teams.

C&J Energy Services has appointed Don Gawick as president and CEO. Formerly the company’s COO, Gawick will continue with those duties, in addition to his new position. With 37 years of industry experience, Gawick has worked for companies including Schlumberger and Casedhole Solutions. He succeeds Randy McMullen, who has been serving as interim president and CEO since earlier this year. Additionally, Mark Cashiola has been appointed CFO. Cashiola has been with the company since 2011.

Effective immediately, four key executive officers have been named at Gran Tierra Energy. Ed Caldwell has been appointed V.P. of HSE and corporate social responsibility (CSR). He had a 27-year career with Exxon Mobil and Imperial Oil, and most recently worked with Caracal Energy. In his new role, Caldwell will lead the implementation of corporate policies and programs related to HSE and CSR. Susan Mawdsley has been named V.P. of finance and corporate controller. With 25 years of industry experience, Mawdsley will manage treasury and finance departments in all company business units. Glen Mah has been appointed V.P. of business development. As a petroleum geologist with extensive management experience, Mah will coordinate all of the company’s new business development efforts. Additionally, Rodger Trimble has been named V.P. of investor relations. He has more than 30 years of industry experience, and previously held several senior management positions.
