Baker Hughes has released its WellLink Performance Service, which converts complex drilling data into useful information for improved efficiency and economics. The service allows operators to improve drilling economics and quickly identify, investigate and mitigate common performance issues, such as connection procedures, circulating times and tripping speed—inefficiencies that can account for as much as 30% of uptime activity. By identifying these inefficiencies immediately, using historic analysis and real-time wellsite data, invisible lost time can be identified and investigated through charts that compare depth versus days drilled, as well as graphs and reports in real time. Performance indicator alarms and dashboards also are key components associated with the service. Photo: Baker Hughes.
