ASM International elected Sunniva R. Collins, senior research fellow at Swagelok Co., as a Fellow of the society. Joining an elite group of technical and professional leaders, she was selected for her contributions to the technical advances in stainless steels used in fluid systems. Collins joined Swagelok in 1995 as a research metallurgist. She served most recently as Technical Director for Swagelok Technology Services Co. Knight promoted Jerome Lane to Operations Manager for its Oil Tools operating company. Lane previously was a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Pressure Control Specialist with Knight, and has over 30 years of experience in blowout prevention and pressure control. Aberdeen-based Qserv, a specialist well, process and pipeline service company, announced two new appointments. Keith Drummond has been named Process Manager, while Malcolm Fox will take the position of Technical Lead for bolting and tensioning.

Canyon Offshore, a division of Helix Energy Solutions Inc., announced the appointment of Aimee Coates as Regional Account Manager. Coates most recently served as a Project Manager for Saipem America on the company’s Devon Project team.

Survey company John Chance Land Surveys Inc. has announced several promotions: Jimmie Stoute has been named Senior VP and Manager of the Terrestrial Survey Services Division. Stoute has been with Fugro for 27 years and was Land Division Manager for seven years. Russell Walters has been named VP and Manager of the Regulatory and Ecological Services Group, which includes state and federal onshore and offshore permitting, ecological studies and shallow water acoustic imaging. Blaine Thibodeaux has been named VP and Manager of the Airborne Sensing and Mapping Division, which operates the helicopter-based LiDAR system. He has been with Fugro since 1996 and Manager of Corridor Mapping for eight years.

Mako Technologies, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Deep Down Inc., has appointed Bryce Merrill to be Director of Subsea Services. Merrill has over 40 years of experience in the subsea industry, 17 years as a diver and 25 years with remote operated vehicles. Before joining Mako, he worked on various projects for BP, Chevron, Petrobras, Shell and Total.

Onsite accommodations specialist HB Rentals, a Superior Energy Services company, has promoted Deidre Toups to President. Toups has been with the company since 1997 and was most recently the Senior VP overseeing both operations and administrative functions.

Production Services Network (PSN) announced the appointment of Jacques LeBlanc as the new VP of Engineering and Construction for the US. LeBlanc, who will be based at PSN’s US headquarters in Houston, formerly served as a Business Manager for the company.

St. Mary Land & Exploration Co. of Denver, Colo., has hired Wade Pursell as Executive VP and CFO. He has over 20 years of experience in financial and accounting positions, and served most recently as CFO of Houston-based Helix Energy Solutions.

Newfield Exploration Co. has named Bruce A. Stallsworth as Government Affairs Manager, a newly created position. He has more than 20 years of government affairs experience at both the federal and state levels. Most recently, he was Senior VP of Government Affairs for the Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association, where he was in charge of policy development and political activities.

Blue Dolphin Energy Co., an independent oil and gas company with operations in the Gulf of Mexico, announced the appointment of William J. Dale as CFO. Dale has over 12 years of energy experience, most recently as Assistant Treasurer of Rosetta Resources Inc.

Independent Oil Tools-Dosco B.V. announced that Jim Reynolds has been appointed VP, International Business Development. With over 40 years of experience in international and domestic operations, he will be responsible for corporate sales in the US and acquisitions related to the IOT network of companies. Reynolds will be based in Houston.

UK-based geophysical imaging technology specialist ARKeX is expanding into Latin America with the hiring of Guillermo García as Business Development Manager. García has more than 10 years of operations management experience in the oil and gas industry and three years in scientific research on geological and geophysical interpretation and data analysis. He served eight years with Halliburton/Landmark.

Earth Search Sciences Inc. appointed Charles G. Bridge Jr. as CFO. He most recently served as Managing Director and CFO with Brooke Private Equity Advisors in Boston.

BJ Services Company’s Process and Pipeline Services (PPS) division appointed Bruce Campbell to the position of Business Development Manager, Flange Integrity. In his new role, he will drive the expansion of the division’s new controlled bolting services line in Australia and Asia. Campbell has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
