InterMoor Inc., an Acteon company, named Don
Hardin VP of Projects
and Engineering. Hardin has more than 25 years of experience in structural
engineering, offshore installation, project management and general
marine operations, and also been involved with research, development
and implementation of new mooring technology. Previously, he worked
as project manager for Technip USA.
David Knox will join Santos Ltd. to take the newly created position
of executive VP, Growth Businesses. He is currently managing director
for BP Exploration and Production in Australasia, a position he has
held since 2003. During his 25-year career, he has held senior positions
with BP in Australia, the UK and Pakistan.
Foster Wheeler Ltd. has elected Lisa
Zardet Wood as VP and controller.
She most recently was the chief accounting officer for Foster Wheeler,
Inc. Wood joined a subsidiary of the company in 1997 as deputy chief
auditor. The company named Edward G. Carr to succeed Wood as chief
accounting officer. Carr was most recently director of SEC reporting,
a position he has held since 2004.
Superior Offshore International, Inc., a provider of subsea construction
and commercial diving services on the outer continental shelf of the
Gulf of Mexico, appointed David Weinhoffer as its VP of business development.
He has over 25 years of oilfield-related and international marine operations
experience.
Saxon Oil Co. Ltd. named Steven
D. Moore president of Central Kansas
Gas Gathering System Co., LLC (CKGG), the wholly owned subsidiary formed
to own and operate gas-gathering systems, pipelines, and processing
facilities in Kansas. Larry Glenn was named corporate secretary, and S.
E. Sinnott was named VP. In June, CKGG acquired a 92-mile gas-gathering
system in Kansas.
AVEVA announced that Rob Glasier has been
promoted to executive VP, and will serve as head of The Americas
region, headquartered in Houston, Texas. Previously, Glasier was
responsible for AVEVA Americas’ Marine
business for the shipbuilding and offshore industry, as well as its
asset and information lifecycle management business.
International project management and services
company AMEC announced that Terrance Ivers has joined Houston-based
AMEC Paragon as president. He reports to Simon Naylor, who previously
served as president of both AMEC Paragon and all of AMEC’s oil and gas business in the Americas.
Naylor remains at AMEC Paragon as president of the company’s
Natural Resources (Americas) business. Ivers has 30 years of international
project and business management experience.
The Well Control School appointed Jonathon
Lemley as an account manager,
with responsibility for the Rocky Mountain area, including Denver.
Also, Bob Rooney was named account manager for Houston, along with
other areas of Texas.
Aberdeen-based global drilling waste management firm TWMA appointed
Michael W. Press, a former executive VP of Amerada Hess, as non-executive
chairman, and appointed Alan Pearson as financial director. Press has
27 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, both with operators
and service companies, most recently as a director of Petrofac. Pearson
is an accountant with 13 years of experience. He led the finance function
of Baker Hughes Drilling Fluids in Europe, Africa, Russia and the Caspian
from its inception.
Knowledge Systems elected Jamey
Webster to the position of CEO. He has been the company’s COO for the
past four years. Founder, chairman and previous CEO Jim Bridges will
continue with the company as the chairman of the board, focusing
on strategy and long-range planning.
American Electric Technologies, Inc., announced that Jim
Ingram has
joined the company as manager in charge of the pipeline, refinery and
industrial market segments. Ingram has more than 40 years of experience
in the industrial, manufacturing and electrical services industries.
Matt Hooker has been named VP of Operations
for Nabors Well Services Co. He has been with Nabors Well Services
for 16 years, most recently as senior operations manager for Southern
California. He will be responsible for leading the company’s
well servicing business lines in the Rocky Mountains, Mid-Continent,
California and offshore districts.
Wanda Godfrey joined Corrosion Resistant Alloys, LP, as operations
manager. She has over 25 years of industry background in OCTG in API
grades as well as chrome and nickel alloys. Also, Julie Jakubson has
joined the company as OCTG manager. She has over 15 years of experience
in the oil and gas industry working for Amoco, Unocal and Halliburton.
Wyoming-based energy technology company WellDog appointed Dr.
Jeffrey Levine as CTO. He has over 30 years of experience as a geologist specializing
in coalbed methane and shale gas. Levine has participated in projects
in the UK, Poland, China, Australia and Columbia, and has held positions
at GeoMet Operating Co., CDX Gas and Ammonite Resources.
