Uniterre Resources Ltd. completed the sale of its assets in Beddingfield, Pat Oakes, Waldrip and Whitaker Gas Units in Leon and Limestone Counties, Texas, to Azurite Oil & Gas for about $435,000.

Spectrum now has block-specific seismic data available from 15 onshore and shallow water blocks in the Niger Delta province of Nigeria.

Dynastar Inc. received approval to proceed with its acquisition of Dynastar Drilling Ltd. from the Canadian Venture Exchange for $300,000. Subsequent to the acquisition, A & B Drilling Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynastar, sold all of its assets to DDL in exchange for promissory notes and assumption of liabilities.

Expro International Group and FMC Technologies, Inc., signed a global cooperation agreement to integrate the supply of landing strings and intervention services. The renewable three-year agreement will provide combined planning, preparation, supply and installation of subsea trees, completions and subsequent interventions. Meanwhile, the firm completed its move into new facilities in Aberdeen, housing both the Europe Region headquarters and subsea R&D facilities.

Ramco Energy plc’s wholly owned subsidiary Medusa Oil & Gas and RWE-DEA concluded an agreement transferring a 58.5% shareholding in Medusa to RWE-DEA. RWA will now fund the next $12 million of an agreed work program on Carpathian Blocks 434, 435, 454 and 455 in southern Poland. Plans call for seismic acquisition and two wells before September 2002.

John Wood Group PLC acquired Production Services Group. PSG companies Coastal Production Services, Production Systems Inc., ProSafe Inc. and RMC Technology Corp. will now trade as Wood Group Production Services.

TOBIN International, Ltd., opened a new office location in Seattle, Washington, as part of its expansion throughout the West Coast region. The new office will service Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Alaska and British Columbia and Alberta, Canada.

Thompsons Kelly & Lewis became the exclusive Australasian agent for Pleuger submersible borehole pumps and motors.

Soho Resources’ board overwhelmingly approved a share exchange whereby Huntford will become the wholly owned subsidiary of Soho. The board also approved a name change to Ceres Energy Inc.

Knight Oil Tools purchased Prideco, Inc., which specializes in high-pressure equipment in northern Utah, western and central Wyoming and northern Colorado.

Harvey Gulf International Marine, Inc., will diversify into a full service marine transportation provider. It has agreed with Eastern Shipbuilding in Panama City, Fl., for the construction of six ultra-modern state-of-the-art Offshore Supply Vessels. Each will be ABS DP2 Certified with capacities of 7,000 bbl liquid mud, 9600 bbl bulk and 3,300 DWT tons of cargo carrying capacity.

Schlumberger Oilfield Services acquired Inverurie, Scotland-based Phoenix Petroleum Services, a provider of tools, technologies and techniques for optimizing production in artificially lifted wells, particularly those using submersible pumps. This acquisition will increase the firm’s in-well monitoring and artificial lift services.

Weatherford International, Inc., acquired sole ownership of International Nitrogen Services LLC from MG Generon, Inc.

Expro International Group PLC completed its move into extensive new facilities in Aberdeen housing both its European region headquarters and R&D facilities.

Intec Engineering and Petrofac U.K. Ltd. established a UK-based joint venture, PETROFAC-INTEC. Meanwhile, INTEC Engineering purchased all the engineering aspects of onshore facilities, pipelines and pursue EPC contracts in the entire South American continent of ARCAN Ingenieria y Construcciones.

Resolution Energy Inc.’s proposed reorganization is intended to increase shareholder value and liquidity.

Woodside Energy Ltd. and the North West Shelf Venture participants have been awarded production licenses for Echo-Yodel gas condensate field in Western Australia. Development will comprise two subsea production wells tied back to the Goodwyn platform via a 12-in.-diameter pipeline. Output will be commingled with existing production on the Goodwyn platform, processed and exported to shore via an existing pipeline. Development is slated for mid-2002. Field reserves are an estimated 37 million bbl of condensate and 0.4 Tcfg over a five-year period.

Plans for developing TotalFinaElf-operated Cuenca and Aries gas field in Argentina include two platforms, a multiphase subsea pipeline to the coast and seven extended-reach wells. A pipeline will link Carina to the Rio Culen plant, where existing facilities will be expanded to accommodate the new output.

Nexen Inc. agreed to acquire 100% interests in four leases in Vermilion Block 76 for a total consideration of $39.7 million. Lying 70-mi southwest of Lafayette, Louisiana, the area consists of 17,500 net acres and produces 17 MMcfgd and 90 bopd. Estimated reserves are 37.2 Bcfge.

BJ Services designed and completed a custom bulk plant, currently installed on Esso Norge’s Ringhorne platform deck for the Ringhorne field, offshore Norway, about 140 mi west of Haugesund. For use during drilling and cementing operations, it incorporated specially designed aeration systems and manways to limit in-vessel man hours.

Petris Technology, Inc., and GeoNet Services, Inc., will join to create a single entity named Oil and Gas IT.

Chemiere Energy, Inc., acquired all of the rights to the proprietary data sets developed with Zydeco Energy, Inc. covering 230 sq mi in West Cameron Parish, Louisiana. Zydeco is focusing its efforts outside the energy industry.

Hydralift agreed to purchase 32.35% of the shares in the Dutch company SAS Gouda BV.

EnerSea Transport plans to commercialize VOTRANS, a new compressed natural gas (CNG) marine transport technology with the capability of moving up to 2 Bcf of CNG per ship over distances up to 4,000 mi, at significantly lower total costs than LNG. WO
