ZENRG Services acquires Versiv Solutions assets, expanding natural gas capture technology

ZENRG Services has acquired the assets of Versiv Solutions, an Artera company, expanding its footprint and capabilities in natural gas capture and emissions-reduction services across the United States energy and utility sectors. 

Versiv Solutions provides cross-compression technology that captures natural gas during pipeline depressurization events and returns it to the system, preserving product value while reducing emissions. ZENRG said the technology complements its recompression services, which retain gas and liquid hydrocarbons that would otherwise be vented or flared during pipeline maintenance and operational activities.

The combined capabilities will allow ZENRG to provide expanded pressure-balancing, maintenance shutdown and inline inspection support services across the oil and gas value chain, from upstream production to local distribution systems. According to the company, the acquisition also strengthens its ability to deliver emissions-mitigation solutions for operators seeking to reduce methane releases while maintaining operational continuity.

Versiv Solutions operates primarily across the eastern United States, and ZENRG said the transaction will help extend its nationwide reach as demand grows for technologies that capture natural gas and limit emissions during pipeline and facility operations.
