Texas Alliance of Energy Producers elects new board officers

The Texas Alliance of Energy Producers Board of Directors last week unanimously elected Cye Wagner of Cooper Oil and Gas as the new Chairman of the TAEP board. Cye has been serving as the Board Vice Chairman for the past two years.

Cye Wagner has enjoyed over 10 years with Cooper Oil & Gas, Inc. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering and a minor in Business. After completing internships with Burlington Resources, Chevron and EOG Resources, she chose to work for EOG in the Fort Worth Division upon graduation. Cye enjoyed her tenure there in completions and production engineering until making the move to the family business. At COGI, Cye serves in an executive management role over the exploration, accounting, human resource, and regulatory departments.

Cye is a member of several other industry organizations including the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Independent Petroleum Association of America. Cye is very active in her community of Fort Worth, serving in leadership roles in the Junior League for many years. She greatly enjoys volunteering her time with Make A Wish and teaching Sunday school at church. She and her husband, Kyle, have two young children. They enjoy spending time with their daughter, Davis (7), and son, Conrad (4), at the family ranch hunting, fishing and riding horses.

Houston Sullivan of Double Eagle Energy Holdings III, LLC was elected as the Vice Chairman of the Board. Houston is currently the Senior Vice President of Business Development of Double Eagle Energy Holdings III LLC. Prior to joining the Double Eagle team, Houston served as Vice President of Business Development of Veritas Energy, LLC from 2012 to 2017. In 2016, Veritas Energy, LLC and Double Eagle Energy II formed Double Eagle Energy Permian, LLC. After Double Eagle Energy Permian, LLC was sold to Parsley Energy Inc in 2017, Houston remained with Double Eagle and continues to serve in his current role as SVP of Business Development. 

Marshall Tillman of Kornye-Tillman was elected as Board Secretary.  Marshall started as a Landman in 1981 and has 39 years of oil and gas experience directly managing, leasing, drilling and completion operations, daily production, well-site supervision, regulatory filing and JIB/Revenue distribution. Kornye-Tillman Company was founded in 1993 and currently operates numerous wells and two gas gathering systems. Marshall is a long-time active member and board member, and has served on the Executive Committee since 2018.
