ENI terminates Ocean Rig drillship contract on oil slump
ATHENS, Greece -- Ocean Rig, a provider of offshore deepwater drilling services, has seen the contract for one of its drillships terminated.

The drilling contractor said Thursday that “due to the dramatic fall of the crude oil price and the volatile market context, ENI has reassessed its drilling activities and taken the decision to exercise its right of terminating” the contract for the Ocean Rig Olympia.
Ocean Rig Olympia is a sixth generation deepwater drillship.
