Landmark introduces industry's first, complete E&P cloud offering

HOUSTON -- Landmark, a Halliburton business line, has introduced the industry's first, complete software suite for managing E&P projects, taking advantage of cloud computing. The product was launched at Landmark's annual technology forum underway in Houston.

Patent-pending unstructured gridding automatically creates higher resolution grid cells surrounding natural and induced fractures, with coarser cells elsewhere.

Optimized for E&P lifecycle management, the Landmark Earth engineered appliance brings together Landmark’s DecisionSpace software suite with a pre-integrated appliance. The software suite is expected to help achieve up to 5X the performance, 50% lower total cost of ownership (TCO), 80% faster deployment, and high workflow scalability.

Through cloud computing Landmark Earth enables access to integrated data and computing resources from anywhere at any time "From a remote regional office to corporate enterprise, Landmark Earth enables operator teams to spend more time focused on business strategy and less time on technology implementation and upgrades, so as to facilitate reduced costs and faster decisions," explained Nagaraj Srinivasan, V.P. Landmark.
