Expro has appointed Bill Inglis as senior project manager. He will plan, manage and execute the company’s integrated well abandonment services as the client’s single point of contact. Inglis brings more than 25 years of industry experience, including drilling and completions superintendent for Hess Denmark and single-point accountability wells decommissioning for BP. His experience also includes a broad range of onshore and offshore decommissioning at Schiehallion Claw, Don and Magnus fields.

NEL has appointed Dr. Bruno Pinguet as senior consultant, in an effort to strengthen the company’s expertise in flow measurement. Pinguet is a leading expert in multi-phase flow measurement and research. With more than 25 years of experience, as well as over 140 published scientific papers and numerous patents, Pinguet is well-known within the industry.

Mammoth Energy Services has announced that Paul Heerwagen has been appointed to the company’s board of directors. Heerwagen will succeed Aaron Gaydosik, who resigned from the board in January. Heerwagen serves as V.P., corporate development, for Gulfport Energy Corporation, where he oversees corporate strategy. Since joining Gulfport in May 2007, Heerwagen has also served as director of investor relations and corporate affairs, as well as president of Stingray.

Peterson Ltd. has named Sarah Forbes as director of projects & innovation. She brings 15 years of industry experience in numerous senior management roles, with a primary focus on implementing innovative business systems and supporting organizations with technology offerings that improve efficiency and reduce cost. Forbes is the founder of Core 29, a project management and consultancy business in Aberdeen, UK. She will continue to serve as the business’ director.

Michael K. Wirth, executive V.P. of midstream and development at Chevron Corp., has been promoted to vice chairman of the company. His appointment was effective Feb. 1. In addition to his new role, Wirth will join the company’s board of directors. Wirth joined Chevron in 1982 as a design engineer. He has since held a variety of engineering, construction, operations and leadership positions.

ASTM International has announced that Katharine Morgan will succeed James A. Thomas as president of the organization. Morgan will lead a team that supports members, customers, partners and other stakeholders, worldwide. Prior to her appointment, Morgan served as the organization’s executive V.P. for two years. Additionally, she served as V.P. of technical committee operations, a 50-member team supporting the volunteer work of the organization’s 30,000 members.

James A. Cisarik, senior V.P. of government affairs and public relations at Enterprise Products Holdings, has been elected chairman of the Texas Pipeline Association (TPA). TPA is the largest state trade association in the U.S. that solely represents the interests of the state’s pipeline network. Prior to joining Enterprise, Cisarik served as senior V.P. of Coral Energy. Prior to that, he served as V.P. of market development at Tejas Energy.

Maersk Drilling has announced several key management changes. Lars Ostergaard, presently asset manager, has been appointed as the new chief commercial officer. Ostergaard has been employed with the company since 2005. Additionally, the company has appointed Brian Nygaard, presently serving as head of procurement, as the new head of strategy and partnering. Nygaard, too, has been with the company since 2005. He has held numerous positions since then, including acting head of the North and South American Sourcing offices.

Prior Diesel, a Suretank company, has appointed Jim Yeats to general manager. Yeats brings more than 25 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, with previous senior level appointments at Axon Energy Products, Airpac Bukom, Halliburton and PSL Energy Services. As general manager of Prior Diesel, Yeats will manage the business and will report directly to John Fitzgerald, CEO, Suretank Group.

Promoted as Danos’ Permian area manager, Jeremy Adkins will oversee daily operations in the West Texas region. Additionally, he will lead a team of managers and local support staff based in Midland, Texas. Adkins joined the company in 2011 as a bidding and estimating manager in coatings services. He went on to hold various project and operations management positions prior to his most recent promotion.

Tullow Oil has announced several changes to its board of directors. Paul McDade, COO, has been appointed CEO, and Aidan Heavey, CEO and founder of Tullow Oil, will succeed Simon Thompson as chairman. Thompson has stepped down from the board after six years. Additionally, Ann Grant, senior independent director, will retire after nine years on the board. Jeremy Wilson, a non-executive director and chairman of the company’s remuneration committee, will succeed Grant as senior independent director.

RAK Petroleum plc has appointed Shelley M. Watson to COO, effective immediately, and as CFO, effective April 30, 2017. Watson has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry in the Middle East. Most recently, she served as the general manager of the company’s predecessor, until the summer of 2014.  She joined RAK Petroleum as group commercial director in 2007, and previously held commercial management roles with Novus Petroleum and Indago Petroleum.

Borets U.S. has named Obren Lekic as the new CEO. Based in Houston, Lekic will lead the company’s executive team, as it navigates strategies for market growth, including the development of new products and the implementation of strategic sales and marketing tactics. Since joining the company in 2005, Lekic has held numerous executive and senior management positions. Most recently, he served as V.P. of business development. Overall, he brings more than 20 years of oil and gas experience to his newest role.

Tethys Petroleum has named Medgat Kumar to its board of directors. Kumar is the owner and director of Petro Impex Trade LLP, a Kazakhstan-based company primarily focused on trading crude oil and petroleum products, oil refining and terminals businesses. The appointment was effective at the end of January.

Reid BergerStokke has been appointed to head Global Maritime’s new business line, GM Solutions—which focuses on the identification and development of innovative technical solutions promoted through partnerships. In his new role, Stokke will examine the company’s existing services and develop newly packaged solutions that will enable the company to take on a more broad project management role. He brings extensive experience in project management and new business development to his new position.
