Egil Haugsdal has been appointed president of Kongsberg Maritime. He follows Geir Håøy, who is moving into the role of CEO in June. After seven years at Kongsberg, Haugsdal holds extensive leadership experience, including executive V.P. of business development and president of the company’s Protech Systems. In addition to more than 30 years of industry experience, he has played an integral role in the restructuring of the group’s oil and gas businesses during the last 20 years.

Several key appointments have launched the reorganization of BP’s senior executive team. Lamar McKay has been named deputy chief executive. He is a 35-year veteran of BP, and will be based in London. His responsibilities will include strategy, safety and operational risk, technology and corporate governance. McKay previously served as chief executive of the company’s upstream segment, and will be succeeded by Bernard Looney, who was formerly chief operating officer of production.

AlMansoori Specialized Engineering has appointed Ahmed Aboulfotouh to general manager of Production Services. He has served in several senior management roles in numerous international organizations in Egypt, Pakistan, UAE and Libya. Before joining the company, Aboulfotouh was employed by Weatherford. In his new role, he will manage performance and setting strategies for business development and growth.

Janelle Pence has been named V.P. of the U.S. region for Seatronics Ltd. She will manage and develop the company’s business, with a primary focus on developing long-term partnerships with the ROV and survey community in the Gulf of Mexico. With more than 14 years of experience in the offshore industry, Pence has held several leadership positions in business development, commercial management, strategic planning and general administration with Subsea 7 and Ceona.

Chevron has named Stephen W. Green to president of Chevron Asia-Pacific Exploration and Production. He is succeeding Melody B. Meyer, who is retiring after 37 years. Green, who has extensive experience in oil, gas and geothermal operations, will now oversee Chevron’s E&P activities in nine countries across the Asia-Pacific region. Joseph M. Naylor will succeed Green as corporate V.P. of policy, government and public affairs. Naylor has served in key leadership roles in downstream and chemicals, global gas, corporate business development, upstream and corporate strategic planning.

Tesoro Corp. has appointed Kim K.W. Rucker to executive V.P., general counsel and secretary. The appointment will follow the retirement of Charles S. Parrish, who has served as the company’s general counsel since 2005, and as executive V.P. since 2009. Rucker has a diverse background in litigation, corporate governance and counsel, as well as compliance.

Intermoor, an Acteon company, has named Folabi Bolatiwa as general manager in Nigeria. He will oversee the company’s continued growth in the region. Bolatiwa has more than 10 years of experience in the offshore industry. After joining the company as an engineer in 2007, he served as Gulf of Guinea operations manager and helped launch the business in Nigeria.

In conjunction with the retirement of Jeff Sheets, executive V.P. of finance and CFO, ConocoPhillips has announced several executive leadership changes. Don Wallette, Jr., has been named as Sheets’ successor. He will be responsible for the company’s financial and commercial functions. Al Hirshberg has been named executive V.P. of production, drilling and projects. In this role, Hirshberg will oversee drilling operations and major projects, as well as health, safety and environmental functions. Additionally, Matt Fox has been named executive V.P. of strategy, exploration and technology. He will be responsible for strategic planning, exploration, business and technology development.

Jacek Kacperski has been named Norway sales manager for Houston-based ProSep. Because the company has renewed its focus on its suite of proprietary technologies, to maximize hydrocarbon recovery and reduce chemical consumption, Kacperski will work closely with local operators to drive the development of new and existing opportunities for process optimization.

David G. Gallagher has been appointed to president and CEO of American Gilsonite Company (AGC), effective immediately. He has more than 30 years of industry experience with companies, including Schlumberger, CARBO Ceramics and Baker Hughes Inc., in engineering, operations, product development and various executive management roles. He joined AGC in 2013 as senior V.P. of commercial operations.

Shane Summers has been appointed to V.P. of logistics at Shale Support, LLC, where he will oversee all aspects of the logistics department and ensure that all services are in line with the company’s policies, procedures and business goals. Prior to joining the company in 2015, Summers served as a logistics and terminal manager, director of rail logistics and a survey engineer for various energy and technology corporations.

UK-based JDR has appointed Rob Hastings and Alan Wilson as non-executive directors. Hastings serves as the executive director of the corporate management board at The Crown Estate, which has extensive urban, rural and offshore property holdings. He is directly responsible for the energy and infrastructure portfolio. With more than 30 years of experience in the offshore subsea sector, including five years as CEO of Trelleborg Offshore Ltd., Wilson is a non-executive chairman of a number of businesses, including Pressure Technologies, Rimor Ltd. and Modern Water.

Zupt, LLC, has welcomed Simonette Lentze-Muller as the new V.P. of offshore operations. She will manage all offshore operations, including data integrity, operational management and personnel oversight. Muller joins Zupt from Heerema Marine Contractors, where she served as senior specialist of Engineering Subsea Services. She brings expansive knowledge and experience in offshore marine construction surveys, positioning and underwater acoustics to her new position.

Romer Bracho has been named chief operating officer at AEREON. He has 24 years of experience in quality assurance, sales and field operations, new product development, manufacturing and supply chain in a leadership capacity. He most recently served as Eastern Hemisphere manufacturing director for Halliburton. Additionally, Bracho is a former employee of Tejas Completions Solutions, Venezuela’s National Oil Company and Schlumberger.

Following significant growth over the past year, subsea operations and engineering company JFD has appointed Valerio Percoco to sales director. He joins the company from Offshore Installation Services (OIS), where he successfully managed key projects and achieved substantial business growth and expansion. He brings a wealth of leadership and offshore experience to his new position. Percoco will drive company growth through further development in both new and existing markets.
