It seems like only yesterday, that I was slipping a 5½-in. floppy disk into my newly acquired TRS 80. I was at the top of the computing heap. I had spreadsheets, word processing programs—the works. Never mind that the machine did not have enough internal memory to hold even one of these programs—that they all had to be run from the floppy disks. I was there, immersed in the nascent computing boom.
