Noble Energy has revised its organizational structure to support projected growth, with Chairman and CEO Charles D. Davidson saying he expects the company to double in size within five years. The new structure includes three major operating regions: U.S. Onshore, Eastern Mediterranean, and U.S. Gulf of Mexico (GOM), Africa and Frontier. Gary W. Willingham, previously V.P. of Strategic Planning, Environmental Analysis and Reserves, will serve as senior V.P. for the U.S. Onshore region. J. Keith Elliott, previously V.P. of Operations Services, will serve as senior V.P. for the Eastern Mediterranean region. Susan M. Cunningham, previously senior V.P. of Exploration and Business Innovation, will serve as senior V.P. for the U.S. GOM, Africa and Frontier region. Willingham, Elliott and Cunningham will all directly report to President and COO David L. Stover. John T. Lewis, previously V.P. of the Southern Region, will serve as senior V.P. for Corporate Development and will report to Davidson. Charles J. “Chip” Rimer, previously V.P., West Africa, will serve as senior V.P. for Global Operations Services and report to Stover. Rodney D. Cook, previously senior V.P., International, and Ted D. Brown, previously senior V.P., Northern Region, will serve as senior vice presidents and advisors to the president and the CEO.


Greene’s Energy Group has named Shawn Ellis as director of sales, North America, for the Testing and Services business unit. Ellis will be based in Lafayette, La.


Doug Lawler, senior V.P. of International and Deepwater Operations at Anadarko Petroleum, will join Chesapeake Energy as CEO and a member of the board of directors, effective June 17. Lawler is a petroleum engineer with 25 years of experience in the upstream E&P industry who has served in increasingly senior leadership roles at Anadarko.


BMT Scientific Marine Services (BMT), a subsidiary of BMT Group Ltd., announced that Andy Brown has been appointed V.P. of business development. Brown has worked in the offshore oil and gas sector for more than 25 years, and has wide-ranging experience in business development, marketing, commercial documentation, project management, cost control, corporate finances and personnel management.


Wood Group PSN (WGPSN) has appointed a new CFO. David Kemp joins Wood Group’s largest division from Trapoil, an independent E&P company, where he was financial director. He replaces Duncan Skinner, who is retiring from the industry. As CFO of WGPSN’s global business, Kemp is responsible for various aspects of the company’s administration.


UniversalPegasus International, an engineering, project management and construction management company, has named Bobby Hitt senior vice president of Quality. Hitt’s duties include setting the strategic direction for UPI’s quality program.


Hess Corporation has announced that, after consulting with its shareholders, it will separate the role of chairman and CEO immediately following its annual meeting, held May 16, 2013. John Krenicki, former vice chairman of GE, has agreed to serve as non-executive chairman, if he is elected together with the other Hess nominees. Following the annual meeting, the newly-constituted Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee will outline responsibilities for the non-executive chairman that are consistent with corporate governance best practices. Prior to his role as vice chairman of GE, Krenicki was president and CEO of GE Energy. John B. Hess, Hess’ chairman and CEO, has stated his full support for the decision.


Ceona has appointed Mark Preece as the company’s executive V.P. of commercial and business development. Preece will begin work with the area of offshore construction, engineering and project management in June 2013. Before joining Ceona, Preece was CEO at subsea start-up company Reef Subsea; senior VP of business development and marketing at Acergy; and managing director with the Bibby Line.


IMV Projects, a Wood Group Mustang company, has created a new vice presidential role within the company: Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ). IMV Projects veteran Tom Fransham is the company’s first V.P. of HSEQ.


Paul Royall is the founder and president of RMDC, which provides expert consultants in the fields of project management, systems engineering, and manufacturing.  Bringing aerospace experience to the oil and gas industry, RDMC provides assessments and diagnoses of projects and designs with the goal of identifying current and future problems, create more efficient operations, and develop targeted problem solutions.


Samson Resources Corporation has appointed Randy L. Limbacher its new CEO and president, effective April 18, 2013. Limbacher will also join the company’s board of directors, concurrent with his joining the Samson. Limbacher was most recently with Rosetta Resources, Inc., where he served as chairman, CEO and president from November 1, 2007, to February 26, 2013.


Talisman Energy has apppointed Paul R. Smith as CFO, effective May 20, 2013. Smith is currently Talisman’s executive V.P., North America. Scott Thomson, Talisman’s current CFO, is leaving the company to become president and CEO of Finning International, the world’s largest Caterpillar equipment dealer, headquartered in Vancouver.


Michael Linn has been appointed a non-executive director of Centrica. Linn will become a member of Centrica’s Audit, Nominations and Remuneration committees.


Paradigm has appointed Arshad Matin as its president and CEO, and a member of the board of directors. In his new role as CEO, Matin will lead the development and execution of the company’s strategy. This executive appointment follows the $1-billion acquisition of Paradigm by global private equity investment firm Apax Partners in 2012. Apax, now majority owner of Paradigm, managed the CEO selection process. Founder and former CEO of the company, Eldad Weiss, will continue his longtime association with Paradigm as its non-executive chairman.


Fugro GeoServices announced several recent promotions within the company, including two management appointments: Ted Hampton as president and Adam Jackson as senior V.P. Hampton is a licensed geologist and former V.P. of Furgo GeoServices. He replaces longtime leader Tom Hamilton, who will retire this spring after nearly 30 years of service with Fugro. Together, Hamilton and Hampton led the formation of Fugro GeoServices in 1999 to provide oil and gas customers in the Gulf of Mexico with marine geophysical surveys.


TNT Crane & Rigging, Inc. has promoted Kregg Lunsford to the position of president.  Lunsford has served as the executive V.P. and chief development officer since joining TNT last year, and has led the strategic growth initiatives of the company, including several major acquisitions of smaller crane and rigging companies.
