Wild Well Control, a Superior Energy Services company, announced that James Tuppen has joined the company as Manager, International Well Control Operations. Tuppen has more than 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry involving snubbing services, pressure control and well control operations.


Crosco Integrated Drilling & Well Services Co. announced that Peter Szekely and Tomislav Tadic have been appointed to the company’s management board and that Tadic has been appointed as Crosco’s CFO. Szekely has served as Crosco’s Director of Corporate Services since July 2011 and retains that position. Tadic joined Crosco from Dioki Plc, where he was CFO and board member since 2010.


DOYLES has appointed Eric Myers as Director of Engineering. Myers has manufacturing experience with National Oilwell Varco/Shaffer and Cameron, where he worked in machining and welding, tooling and gauges, rubber goods molding, and assembled products ranging from gate valves to subsea blowout preventer stacks.


LAGCOE announced Angela Cring has been selected to lead LAGCOE - Louisiana Gulf Coast Oil Exposition as Executive Director. Cring has experience both in the public and private sector, having worked for the United States Geological Survey and as a geo-hazards geologist.


Environmental Drilling Solutions has named Spence Girouard as Controller. Prior to joining EDS, Girouard worked for Broussard, Poche, Lewis, & Breaux, as a certified public accountant. He has experience in financial planning and management; and the preparation of financial and tax statements.


Daniel W. Rabun, Chairman, President and CEO of Ensco has been elected 2012 Chairman of the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC).In addition, David W. Williams, Chairman of the Board, President and CEO, Noble Corporation, was elected Vice Chairman. Rabun and Williams will head up IADC’s 2012 leadership team.


The EIC (Energy Industries Council) has appointed Ian Stokes as its new CEO. Stokes brings to the EIC wide international commercial experience, in addition to his training and background as a lawyer, and has worked extensively in Africa, the Americas, Australasia, China, Europe, the Middle East, South and Southeast Asia.


The Imaging Systems Inc. announced Blaine Reese as Sales Account Executive, Gulf Coast. Working out of the iSys Houston location, Reese will be focusing on iSys accounts and encouraging business opportunities in his territory, which includes Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.


Wentworth announced the appointment of Lance Mierendorf to the position of CFO. Geoff Bury, who was both Managing Director and acting CFO, will continue in the role of Managing Director. Mierendorf is a Canadian Chartered Accountant and has worked in the international oil and gas environment for over 15 years.


Petróleo Brasileiro (Petrobras) announced that Graças Foster will replace Jose Sergio Gabrielli as president and CEO of the company. Foster started working at Petrobras in 1978 and has been Petrobras’ director of natural gas and energy since 2007. She has a chemical engineering degree from the Federal Fluminense University (UFF) and has a post-graduate degree in nuclear engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, plus an MBA in economics from Getulio Vargas Foundation, a conservative institution in Rio de Janeiro. Gabrielli is leaving Petrobras to assume a post in the government of Bahia, Brazi’s sixth-largest state in terms of gross domestic product, before running for governor of the state in 2013.


Blake International USA Rigs announced the promotion of Jeffery Showalter to VP of Operations, U.S. & Mexico. Showalter has previously worked as Operations Manager for Seahawk Drilling, and as US-GOM jackup rig Operations Manager for Pride International. He has a background of 37 years of service in operations, safety and construction for offshore drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.


Elliott Group named Art Titus as its COO. Titus joined Elliott in January 2007 as director of sales and marketing for engineered products. He came to Elliott from Vetco Gray in Houston, Texas, where he served as vice president of surface completions.


Knight Oil Tools recently announced a series of executive management promotions. Knight named Clark Carnes president of Knight Oil Tools International and promoted Doug Keller to senior vice president of Knight Oil Tools. Nicholas Knight has been named vice president of Knight Oil Tools. Carnes has 36 years of industry experience and more than 20 years of experience with Knight Oil Tools.


Neway Valve (Europe) announced that Richard Baars will join as Managing Director. In this function Baars will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the company, further development of the corporate culture and establishing long-term business plans. Paul Verheij is appointed to the role of Sales & Business Development Director. Verheij joined Neway in 2007.


James Matthews will join Denbury Resources as VP, General Counsel and Secretary, bringing over 21 years of legal experience to the company. Prior to joining Denbury, Matthews was a partner for 11 years at international law firm Vinson & Elkins, most recently working at the firm’s Tokyo office. Denbury also announced that Phil Webb will join the company as VP, East Region. Webb brings over 30 years of upstream experience with ConocoPhillips in the United States, North Sea, Middle East, and Asia Pacific.


OPW Fluid Transfer Group announced that it has named Richard Wei its VP – Asia/Pacific. Wei has full responsibility for OPWFTG’s operations in Suzhou, China, and Chennai, India, as well as full sales and marketing responsibilities for the Asia/Pacific region. He is located in the Dover Corporation Shanghai regional headquarters.


Umberto Vergine has been appointed CEO of Eni Gas & Power Division. Vergine previously served as Eni Gas & Power’s COO and has held a variety of management positions within the company. In 2010, he was appointed Eni SpA Senior Executive VP for Studies and Research.


Petro Matad announced the appointment of Mark Zebrowitz to its senior management team as COO. Zebrowitz previously served as the company’s Drilling Manager. Zebrowitz joined Petro Matad in March 2011, with over 25 years’ diverse international exploration and development experience.


Apache Corp. announced that its board of directors has elected Margery M. Harris as Executive VP of human resources. She joined Apache in 2007 as VP of human resources and was promoted to senior VP in 2011.


John Bodin has been named the Director of Global Business Development for Delmar Systems, Inc. Based out of Houston, Texas, Bodin will be responsible for overseeing all sales and marketing-related activities for Delmar Systems, Inc., and its global subsidiaries. Bodin has served in Executive Sales for Delmar since 1999.


Technology company Adrok Ltd. announced the hiring of Sean Walker as Senior Professional Geophysicist. Walker has over 15 years of geophysical experience relating to the mining industry.
