Joe Lee was named Director for Knight Oil Tools’ Jar product line. Lee has a long history in the oil field as well as extensive international operations experience. Prior to joining Knight Oil Tools, he served as VP of Operations at Foxxe Energy Services. Also, Knight named Kenny Bennett as Corporate Account Representative. Bennett, a former professional baseball player with the New York Yankees, has held various positions with Integrated Production Services, Smith Services, Cudd Pressure Control and American Pipe & Steel. Most recently he was US Executive Salesman with Scomi Oil Tools.

LUX Assure appointed Max Rowe as an advisor. Professor Rowe, who is based in Aberdeen, has over 22 years of experience in the oil and gas industry where he worked for a major operator in a variety of roles. He is Managing Director of his own consulting company, Selkie Solutions, which works at the interfaces between business and technology for the energy industry. He is also Chairman of the Industrial Technology Facilitator.

Miller Energy Resources appointed David J. Voyticky as the company’s President. As a consultant to Miller, Voyticky has worked closely with the company on key strategic issues and financing matters. Voyticky has over 16 years of domestic and international M&A, restructuring and financing experience. He served as a VP with Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin Capital in Los Angeles, and as an associate with J.P. Morgan in London and New York.

Hyperdynamics announced the addition of Bonnie Milne-Andrews as Manager of Geological Operations. She comes to the company from Swift Energy, where she most recently served as Manager of Development for Swift’s shale and tight gas sand plays in South Texas. Earlier, she held positions with BP, Amoco and Schlumberger, covering exploration and development projects in the US, South America, the former Soviet Union, the Middle East, West Africa and Australasia.

K. S. Jamestin has been promoted to Director of Human Resources at Oil and Natural Gas Corp. (ONGC), India’s national oil company. He succeeds Dr. A. K. Balyan, who has joined LNG Petronet. Jamestin brings 35 years of experience in human resources development, project management, business development, operation and maintenance of oilfield installations, engineering, design and instrumentation. Jamestin joined ONGC in 1977 as a graduate trainee.

Apache Corp. announced several promotions and appointments to its management team. Jon Jeppesen has been promoted to the new role of Executive VP, overseeing the operations of the Gulf of Mexico shelf, deepwater and Gulf Coast onshore regions. Jon Graham has been named VP of the Global Environmental, Health and Safety organization. Mark Bauer has been promoted to Region VP for the Gulf of Mexico shelf. Michael Bose moved up to Region VP and Country Manager for Argentina. Graham Lawton was named VP of LNG Projects, leading the Kitimat project team for the LNG facility and Pacific Trail pipelines. Kenny Paterson has been named VP of LNG Marketing and Shipping.

Baker Hughes announced that Adam B. Anderson has been appointed VP of Investor Relations. Anderson will succeed Gary R. Flaharty, who assumes a senior role in Baker Hughes’ supply chain organization.

Frans Everts has been named leader of Shell’s wholly owned natural gas, power and environmental products subsidiary, Shell Energy North America (US) and its subsidiaries, including Shell Energy North America (Canada) Everts has been with Shell for more than 20 years and most recently served as the General Manager for Shell Lubricants’ global car care business line. Mark Quartermain, former Shell Energy business lead, will assume a new role serving as Vice President of Strategy for Shell’s downstream portfolio, and will be based in London.

Seismic imaging services provider Spectrum has announced several appointments to its executive management team. Henning Olset has been appointed the company’s new CFO. Based in Oslo, Henning has more than 10 years of executive financial management experience. Previously, he was CFO of Andvord Tybring-Gjedde. Jan Schoolmeesters has been named COO of Spectrum. Schoolmeesters has substantial experience in the seismic industry with a technical, operational and commercial background, most recently with PGS as President of Asia Pacific. Current CFO Rhys Edwards will take the position of Group Commercial Director. He will be based in Woking, UK.

Rex Energy Corp. announced that current Chairman Lance Shaner has been appointed interim President and CEO, succeeding Dan Churay, who is leaving the company.

Scott A. McCurdy has joined Blackhawk Specialty Tools as CFO, responsible for oversight of financial and administrative functions. Prior to joining the company, McCurdy most recently served as the Senior VP and CFO of Geokinetics Inc., a provider of seismic data acquisition and processing services to the oil and gas industry.

Ewa Ginal has been named International Marketing Manager at Fugro Multi Client Services. Operating out of the Perth, West Australia, office, she will be responsible for the sales and marketing of non-exclusive seismic data projects to the oil and gas market, primarily in the Asia-Pacific region. Ginal joined Fugro Robertson in 2005 as a client manager.

American Pollution Control Corp. (AMPOL), an oil spill response and environmental solutions provider, named Kevin Bergeron and Jeremy Lott Insulation Specialists. Bergeron and Lott will both be based out of AMPOL’s New Iberia, Louisiana, facility. Combined, they bring more than 42 years of experience to AMPOL.

Schlumberger Business Consulting, the management consulting arm of Schlumberger, has appointed Dr. Adnan Shihab-Eldin and Claude Mandil to the board of the SBC Energy Institute, a non-profit organization that conducts scientific and technological research for issues pertaining to the energy industry. Shihab-Eldin is a former Acting Secretary General and Director of Research at the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), and is currently an advisor to and member of the Kuwait National Nuclear Energy Committee. Mandil served for four years as Executive Director of the Paris-based International Energy Agency (IEA).

Range Resources announced that company President and COO Jeffrey L. Ventura will assume the additional role of CEO. At such time, John H. Pinkerton, Range’s current CEO, will assume the position of Executive Chairman. Pinkerton has served as Range’s CEO since 1992. Ventura has been with the company since 2003 and was elected a director in 2005. Including his service at Range, he has 32 years of industry experience.
