GE Energy named Dan Heintzelman, currently CEO of GE Energy Services, as CEO of GE Oil & Gas. Heintzelman succeeds Claudi Santiago, who is retiring from GE after leading the division for 12 years. Steve Bolze, CEO of GE Power & Water, will now lead an expanded portfolio with the addition of Power Generation Services (formerly part of Energy Services). Dan Janki, currently GE Energy’s CFO, has been named CEO of a newly formed business within GE Energy, GE Energy Management.

Devin International promoted Craig Latch to Deepwater Projects Coordinator for the Gulf of Mexico. Latch will coordinate equipment orders for projects from the company’s Lafayette, Louisiana, office. He previously served as International Projects Coordinator.

Schlumberger announced that Paal Kibsgaard has been named CEO. Kibsgaard has been with Schlumberger for 14 years and most recently served as COO, managing operations in the Middle East, Europe and the US. Kibsgaard will succeed Andrew Gold, who will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board until 2012.

Tom Linebarger has been named Chairman and CEO of Cummins. He succeeds Tim Solso, who is retiring after serving as Chairman and CEO since 2000. Linebarger, President and COO, has served 17 years.

Dale Fain was appointed President and CEO of Intervale Capital’s Team Oil Tools subsidiary, located in Houston. Prior to joining Team in 2010, he worked for Elder Oil Tools, Arrow Oil Tools and, most recently, Weatherford International, where he held various senior leadership positions in the completions division, including North American Operations Engineering Manager.

Polar Star Consultants, a Houston-based engineering and marketing consulting firm, announced the appointment of Stephanie D. Garner as Marketing Director. She comes to Polar Star with 10 years of experience in various sales and marketing positions. Most recently she served as Marketing Communications Specialist for the oilfield chemicals division of Nalco, and before that as Marketing Coordinator for NACE.

Kerric Peyton has been named VP of Corporate Health, Safety and Environmental for Superior Energy Services. Peyton, previously a Drilling Superintendent and manager of worldwide HSE activities at an offshore drilling contractor, has more than 12 years of industry experience.

Hyperdynamics Corp. has appointed Paul C. Reinbolt as its new CFO and Executive VP. Reinbolt is retiring from Marathon Oil Corp. after working more than 30 years with the company, most recently serving as VP-Finance and Treasurer.

Sempra Energy elected Debra L. Reed as CEO of the company and a new member of the board. Reed succeeds Donald E. Felsinger, who will continue as Executive Chairman until his planned retirement in 2012. Neal E. Schmale, President and COO of Sempra Energy, will remain in his current role until his retirement later this year. Reed first joined SoCalGas in 1978 as an energy systems engineer. In 1988, she became the first female officer appointed at the company, which became part of Sempra in 1998.

Scott A. McCurdy has joined Blackhawk Specialty Tools as CFO. He most recently served as the Senior VP and CFO of Geokinetics, a provider of seismic data acquisition and processing services to the oil and gas industry. Prior to that, he was VP, CFO and Treasurer for Grant Geophysical.
