Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping plc has promoted Richard Cooper to CEO of the company and appointed him to the Board of Directors. He has served as President of the OHM group since the August 2007 acquisition of Rock Solid Images Inc., where he was President and CEO.

Larry Heidt has assumed the role of Chairman and CEO of Nabors Well Services Ltd. He has been with the Nabors group of companies for over 17 years. Heidt was named President of Nabors Drilling (USA) LP in 1997, and since 2005 has served as Special Assistant to Nabors Industries’ Chairman.

S. Elizabeth (Liz) Birnbaum, former Staff Director for the Committee on House Administration and the Department of the Interior’s Associate Solicitor for Mineral Resources, has become the 10th Director of the Minerals Management Service (MMS). She will be responsible for an annual budget of $323 million and 1,600 employees.

Teton Energy Corp. has appointed Jonathan Bloomfield as Executive VP and CFO, and Natasha Nightengale as Principal Accounting Officer and Controller. Bloomfield joined the company in March 2008, and has served as the Director of Strategic Planning and Manager of Financial Planning. Before joining Teton, he served as Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis at Gunnison Energy Corp.

Fugro Robertson appointed Barry Ringer as Far East Regional Manager. He will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Ringer has 42 years of professional experience in the petroleum service and consultancy industry, most recently serving as Middle East Regional Manager and Director of Business Development for Fugro Robertson in Abu Dhabi.

Sintex Minerals announced the hiring of Terry Lowrey as the Director of Sales and Marketing for North America. Lowrey has an extensive background in both the pressure pumping business and the proppant industry.

Amerex Energy Services has hired Steve Hardy as a Senior Associate. He has provided consulting services to the energy industry for 25 years. Most recently, he was Managing Director for Priority Power Management.
