Knight has named William Keenan as VP-Gulf Coast for Knight Fishing Services. He was previously a Division Manager for a rental and fishing services company, and a Contract Fishing Tool Supervisor and Area Manager for the Texas Gulf Coast for an oilfield services company.

Wellbore Energy Solutions (WES) appointed Jason Foreman as Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Manager. Prior to joining WES, Foreman spent 12 years with Baker Oil Tools in various capacities, including Applications Advisor in the Fluid Pumping District and Quality Analyst within the Baker Oil Tools Super Center.

Pride International Inc. announced that Randall D. Stilley has been appointed CEO of Pride’s mat-supported jackup rig business. He is a 32-year veteran of the oilfield service industry. From October 2004 through June 2008, he served as President and CEO of Hercules Offshore Inc., leading the company through an IPO in late 2005 and the acquisition of Todco in mid-2007.

Double Eagle Petroleum Co. announced today that its board of directors has elected Richard Dole as CEO and President. He is also the Chairman of the Board, and has served as a Director of the company since 2005. Dole has been in the energy and finance businesses for nearly 40 years.

Omni Energy Services Corp. has named Mark Stipe as VP and General Counsel. He joins the company from the Longman Russo firm in Lafayette, La. Prior to that, he served as Special Counsel to the Louisiana Public Service Commission and the Louisiana Office of the Lieutenant Governor.

Six members of the Marine Technology Society were named Fellows at the society’s annual awards luncheon. Designation as a Marine Technology Fellow is awarded to MTS members who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of the society’s objectives and who have distinguished accomplishments and experience in their professional fields. They were: Dr. Richard W. Spinrad, Assistant Administrator for Research at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration; Ted Brockett, President of Sound Ocean Systems, Inc., of Redmond, Wash.; Dietmar R. Deter, owner of Nautex, Inc., of Houston; Sandor A. Karpathy, Senior Project Manager at Stress Subsea, Inc., of Houston; Capt. Daniel S. Schwartz, Manager of Marine Operations at the University of Washington’s School of Oceanography in Seattle, Wash.; and Mark S. Olsson, President of DeepSea Power and Light of San Diego, Calif.

T. D. Williamson Inc. announced that Bruce Binkley was promoted to President and CEO. Binkley replaces Dick Williamson, who has led the company for the past 16 years and who will continue as Chairman of the Board. Since 2005, Binkley has served as President and COO for TDW. Prior to that, he was Senior VP and General Manager of the Western Hemisphere Region.

Black Hills Corp. announced the promotion of Richard W. Kinzley to VP, Strategic Planning and Development. Kinzley has been with the company nearly 10 years, and has played a key role in many acquisition and divestiture projects.

Steven A. Sonnenberg has been named as Executive VP of Emerson and President of subsidiary Emerson Process Management. He joined the Emerson group of companies in 1979, and served most recently as President of Rosemount. Also, Michael H. Train, President of Emerson Process Management Asia Pacific, will become President of Rosemount and will return to the US from Singapore. Sabee Mitra, President of Emerson Process Management Middle East, has been named President of Emerson Process Management Asia Pacific. David A. Tredinnick, VP Southeast Asia for Emerson Process Management Asia Pacific, will move to Dubai and replace Mitra as President of Emerson Process Management Middle East. Finally, Larry W. Flatt will replace the retiring Gene Shanahan as Group VP for the Emerson Process Management Flow Group.

InterMoor Inc., an Acteon company, has named Randy Mautz as Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Director, and named Chuck Fontenot Quality Assurance and Quality Control Manager. Mautz has over 20 years of experience in quality management. Prior to joining InterMoor, he worked at HMT Inc. as General Manager of Quality Programs. Fontenot has 13 years of experience, most recently with Gulf Island Fabrication.

Oilennium Ltd., a provider of training programs to the international oil and gas industry, announced two key personnel appointments. Jonathan Harvey was appointed Senior Instructional Designer, responsible for overseeing the design and production of e-learning solutions. He has over 10 years in the creative design field. Phill Kirby has been appointed Technical Manager. With 20 years of experience in operations management in the oil and gas industry, he served most recently as a Construction Coordinator for SLP Energy in Great Yarmouth, UK.

Colorado-based FreeWave Technologies appointed Daniel G. Steele to head up its business development efforts in the Rocky Mountain Region. Steele has over 25 years of experience with SCADA networks for the oil and gas and other industries.
