Marine and offshore engineering services firm Noble Denton has appointed John Wishart as Group Managing Director Designate. Wishart, previously President, North America, for Technip, will succeed David Sutton in 2009. Sutton will assume the role of Director of Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions after a three-month handover period.

Doug Crighton has joined Dominion Gas as Managing Director. He was previously with Peterson SBS (formerly SBS Logistics), most recently as a Director and Deputy Managing Director. The company has also appointed Russell Davies, formerly of IBM and ExxonMobil, as Projects Director, and has named Neil Potter, formerly of RB Farquhar, as CFO for the group.

Flotek Industries Inc., a developer and distributor of specialty chemicals and downhole drilling and production equipment, has appointed Jesse E. “Jempy” Neyman as Senior VP and CFO. He has served the company as VP of Business Development since December 2006.

BJ Services Co. announced that John Anderson has been appointed Region VP, Europe and West Africa, for well services. He has 28 years of experience in the oilfield service industry. Prior to this recent promotion, Anderson served for five years as Country Manager for BJ Services in Australia.

Vaalco Energy Inc. announced that Gregory R. Hullinger was named CFO. He succeeds W. Russell Scheirman, who will continue as President and will assume the additional position of COO. Hullinger has over 30 years of finance, accounting and tax experience at Shell Oil Co. and its parent company, Royal Dutch Shell. Most recently he served as the Global Finance Implementation Manager for a Shell-wide records-management initiative.

Gremada Industries Inc. has named James P. Kowske as the President of its subsidiary, Laser Cladding Services, Ltd. (LCS). Kowske will also continue in his current role as a VP of Gremada Industries Inc.

Mining Oil Inc. appointed Donald Beckham as President and COO. He is the founder and President of Beckham Resources Inc., an independent oil and natural gas company that acquires, explores and produces from mature oil and gas fields primarily in East Texas, South Texas and the Texas Gulf Coast.

Mark Weber has been named President and Dr. Luiz Braga as VP of Global Business Development for Fugro Gravity & Magnetic Services (FGMS), the business development arm of Fugro Airborne Surveys and Fugro Ground Geophysics.

Aberdeen-based Qserve has appointed David Bowman to the new role of International Operations Director. With more than 30 years of industry experience working in the UK, Middle East, Asia-Pacific and FSU, Bowman previously served as Regional Director for Africa and Asia at an international oilfield service company.

Spectra Energy Corp. has announced the senior executive team that will lead the corporation following current President and CEO Fred Fowler’s retirement at the end of 2008. In addition to the previously announced appointment of Greg Ebel as President and CEO, Dorothy Ables, currently VP of Audit Services, will take on a new role of Chief Administrative Officer; John Arensdorf, currently VP of Investor Relations, will become Chief Communications Officer; Doug Bloom will continue in his current role as President of Spectra Energy’s Western Canadian business; Julie Dill will continue as President of Union Gas, Spectra Energy’s Ontario distribution business; Mark Fiedorek continues as Group VP, US Southeast Transmission and Storage; Alan Harris, currently Chief Development Officer, will take on additional responsibilities as Chief Development and Operations Officer; and Bill Yardley will continue as Group VP, US Northeast Transmission.

Cudd Well Control, a division of Cudd Pressure Control Inc., announced that Alex Korzenewski has been appointed a Senior Well Control Engineer. He has over 31 years of oilfield experience in all aspects of drilling and completions. Korzenewski joins the company from Weatherford International, where he held several positions including Project Manager and Senior Underbalanced Drilling Engineer.

BJ Services Co. has announced that Kevin Robertson was appointed Country Manager, India, for Tubular Services. Robertson has over 17 years of experience in the oilfield services industry. He will be based in Mumbai.

BJ Services Co. announced that US Technical Marketing Manager Dan Daulton will serve on the Department of Energy’s 2008-2010 Ultra-Deepwater Advisory Committee, advising the US Energy Secretary on new and better ways to develop deepwater oil and gas reserves. Established under the Energy Policy Act of 2005, the program includes an annual plan that outlines activities to strengthen the nation’s crude oil and natural gas supply from extreme deepwater fields. Daulton serves on subcommittees for Research Programs and Program Benefits and Value as well as the group’s Editing Committee.
