Sondex has named Dominique Legrand director of Group Manufacturing. He has more than 20 years of international manufacturing experience, and has held key management positions in various industries-including automotive, semi-conductor, and electronic-with companies such as SAGEM and JDS Uniphase.

Tejas Tubular Products, Inc., appointed Earl Warren to assist in marketing the company’s premium API drill pipe. Warren has more than 35 years of experience in marketing drill pipe and downhole equipment.

Nina Udnes Tronstad has joined Aker Kvaerner as president of the offshore yard at Verdal. She was previously executive VP for HSE in Statoil, where she has been a member of the corporate executive committee since April 2005. Bjørnar Skjevik will return to his position as head of Aker Kvaerner’s fabrication yards.

Composite Energy, a Scottish company developing coalbed methane production in the UK, appointed Colin Bousfield as finance director. Bousfield has been a non-executive director of Composite since 2005, and has over 30 years of banking experience that includes 20 years working in oil and gas lending. He was previously a senior director with Royal Bank of Scotland Oil and Gas Group.

Implicit Monitoring Solutions, a provider of remote asset performance and control monitoring services for the oil and gas industry, announced that David Kerr has joined the company as president. Previously, Kerr was president of Kerr Pump Corp. for 25 years.

Wayne Sampson has joined MegaWest Energy as VP, Land. Sampson has over 30 years of land management experience, primarily in small to intermediate exploration and development companies in Canada and the US. Also, Kelly Sledz joined the company as controller and finance manager. Previously, he was controller for an international oil and gas company.

BJ Services appointed Andrew Campbell to the post of UK country manager for the Well Services Division within the Europe and Africa Region. In this new role, he manages well service operations in the UK and North Sea, particularly coiled tubing and cementing services. Previously, he was Norway country manager for the division. He has more than 30 years of experience in the oil industry.

Integrated services contractor RBG Ltd appointed Ed Stainke as business unit manager of its fabrication facility in Invergordon, Ross-shire. He has over 30 years of experience in the fabrication industry in the UK and overseas. Most recently, he spent five years with J Ray McDermott in Indonesia and Azerbaijan.

Corus Tubes, a business unit of Corus Group, appointed Richard Freeman as business development manager. Freeman will be based in Corby, UK, and will oversee international business development. He joined Corus Tubes in 2004 as a development engineer, and he played a major role in the development of the company’s pipe-in-pipe capabilities.

The board of directors of Technip has appointed Thierry Pilenko chairman and CEO of the company. He succeeds Daniel Valot, who is retiring. Pilenko joined Technip in January 2007 as deputy general manager.

London-based oil and gas analysts Infield Systems Ltd have appointed Steve Adams to the position of international sales manager. Formerly wtih OPL-Clarksons for over 23 years, Adams brings extensive knowledge of oil and gas mapping, publishing and research skills from working with a wide range of oil and gas contractors.

Varel International announced that the firm is opening a new Rocky Mountain Regional office based in Denver. Jim Dahlem, a 30-year oil and gas industry veteran, has been hired to manage the sales and service for the regional office. His career includes numerous sales and engineering roles with SecurityDBS, Halliburton’s drill bit division.

Siemens Energy and Automation, Inc. (SE&A) appointed Dennis Sadlowski as president and CEO, succeeding Aubert Martin, who is retiring after 40 years of service with Siemens. Sadlowski started at the company in 2000 as VP and general manager of the Electrical Apparatus business unit in Atlanta. He then relocated to Germany, where he led the Siemens Automation and Drives Sensors business. In 2006, he returned to Atlanta as COO and manager of the Power Distribution & Controls Division. Martin started with Siemens in 1967. He was named CEO in 2002.

Chevron Corp. announced that Patricia E. Yarrington has been named corporate VP and treasurer, replacing David M. Krattebol, who is retiring after 36 years with the company. Yarrington, who was corporate VP, Policy, Government and Public Affairs, will oversee the company’s financing strategies. She joined Chevron in 1980 and has held a variety of finance and managerial positions, and is currently a member of the board of directors for Chevron Phillips Chemical Co., a 50-50 joint venture with ConocoPhillips. Replacing Yarrington as corporate VP, Policy, Government and Public Affairs is Rhonda I. Zygocki, who was corporate VP, Health, Environment and Safety.
