 Gas website

Fig 1Scott Specialty Gases offers a 14-page booklet that describes its eTools, available at scottgas.com. The products enable specialty-gas users to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs. These tools are designed to minimize labor-intensive paperwork, eliminate record keeping, reduce costs of purchasing and streamline gas-cylinder inventory control. With this website, customers are able to purchase products and related gas-handling equipment online. (Scott Specialty Gases)

 Safe chemicals

Fig 2 Oleon NV describes its oleochemicals produced in Europe in a 10-page, color brochure. These products contain environmentally safe natural fats and oils. Its Radiagreen series of products covers almost every segment of the oil and gas industry from seismic exploration to drilling and completion to production and transport. They are derived from natural and renewable resources and are biodegradable. The drilling chemicals are applied in both oil-based and water-based mud systems. These base oils and lubricants reduce friction and wear, resulting in high drilling rates and extend tool life in challenging circumstances. (Oleon NV)

 Pressure measure tools

Fig 3Ametek has completed the first comprehensive catalog, displaying its high-quality pressure and temperature measurement products. It contains an extensive listing of the company’s process, liquid-filled pressure, general purpose and special application gauges; temperature, electronic pressure and pneumatic products; diaphragm seals and level-measurement transmitters. The color catalog includes a technical overview of its products, such as chemical compatibility and pressure/temperature conversion charts. (Ametek)

 Deepwater production

Baker Petrolite’s brochure presents its Fathom line of products and services for deepwater and subsea production. It explains its chemical treatments, laboratory testing, and prediction modeling to control a variety of problems that impede deepwater production. This program offers chemical inhibitors to control hydrates, paraffin, asphaltenes, corrosion and scale. It also includes hydrate management options, thermodynamics, Kinetic and anti-agglomerant inhibitors. The company’s experts are able to assist with select materials and are able to determine necessary treatment rates, pump capacity, and line diameters. The company is able to custom design combination products to perform multiple functions for a given location. (Baker Petrolite)

 Downhole tools

Fig 4Ascometal products are displayed in the company’s latest brochure. Its downhole assembly, tooling and standard grades offer increased life expectancy, macro cleanness conforming to AMS 2304, outstanding improvement in resistance to stress-corrosion cracking, higher fatigue life, toughness in low temperature conditions, and are quality adapted to meet the “leak before failure” concept. Tooling comprises between strength and toughness in longitudinal and transverse directions even at low temperatures. It gets better when hardened. (Ascometal)
