Gulf Publishing hires Nell Benton as Associate Editor for World Oil
HOUSTON, TX-Oct. 9, 2009- Gulf Publishing is proud to announce the appointment of Nell L. Benton as Associate Editor of World Oil. As Associate Editor, Mrs. Benton will manage World Oil Online and edit content for World Oil magazine. She is also charged with developing new interactive platforms for World Oil Online.

Gulf Publishing Hires Nell Benton as Associate Editor for World Oil
HOUSTON, TX-Oct. 9, 2009- Gulf Publishing is proud to announce the appointment of Nell L. Benton as Associate Editor of World Oil. As Associate Editor, Mrs. Benton will manage World Oil Online and edit content for World Oil magazine. She is also charged with developing new interactive platforms for World Oil Online.
Benton joins World Oil from Axiom, where she worked in business development and wrote marketing strategy plans for Fortune 500 oil and gas companies. Prior to Axiom, Benton was Manager of Agency Operations at Mojo Ad, where she managed client relations and developed multi-platform marketing strategies for a variety of clients, including Best Buy, Hallmark and YUM Brands. Her additional experience includes working in business development for Dale and Thomas and serving as a freelance business writer for the World Economic Development Alliance.

A native of Houston, Benton holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Spanish from Southern Methodist University, where she graduated from the Honors Program. She completed a dual Master’s degree program at the University of Missouri, where she received her Master of Arts in Journalism from the Missouri School of Journalism and her Master of Business Administration from the Trulaske College of Business.
