Logan Industries expands services into West Texas

HEMPSTEAD, Texas -- Logan Industries, a hydraulic repair, manufacturing and rental company, has expanded its land rig equipment services capabilities into West Texas.

The new service will cover Midland, Odessa and the surrounding 100-mi radius, enabling Logan to offer quicker on-site and on-call services to these remote regions.Logan purchased a service truck outfitted with all required tools and spares for the most common hydraulic troubleshooting and light repair work. There will be a crew of three on rotation at all times with a service manager located in Hempstead, Texas.

Jim Trullinger, service manager, will be in charge of this new service area. Prior to his eight years at Logan, Trullinger spent 30 years troubleshooting heavy hydraulic and oil and gas related equipment. Service team members include Nathan Barber - catwalk program manager, Steve Stalcup - technician, Russell Simpson - technician, Brian Basinski - technician, and Ward Newton - sales.

Dean Carey, technical director, Logan, said, “Our service technicians have several decades of experience and have a recognized reputation for high quality workmanship in the service arena. We are proud to have them as a part of the Logan family and expect them to further our goals of providing great services to our customers. We are looking to expand further in both manpower and equipment by the end of this year.”
