Hardbanding Solutions extends the life of work string tubing

CLEVELAND -- Until recently it was not possible to repair work string tubing that, because of wear, has undersized upset connections. Now Hardbanding Solutions by Postle Industries has developed a remarkable patent-pending product and effective procedure to restore work string tubulars that have worn below the minimum allowable connection diameter. The product, called Postalloy Tube-Weld 110, was specifically designed by Hardbanding Solutions to be welded to the upset area for the purpose of rebuilding the outside diameter. After the rebuilt area is machined and the threads re-cut, the connection is ready to return to service.
