Huisman celebrates 10-year anniversary of Chinese production facility

SCHIEDAM, The Netherlands -- Huisman, a lifting, drilling and subsea solutions company, celebrated the 10-year anniversary of its Chinese production facility, Huisman China, on April 17.

Huisman China, a 100% subsidiary of Huisman, is located in the Fujian Province (Xiamen area) in China. The facility has a 380-m long quayside and a Huisman design 2,400-tonne traveling quayside crane, with direct deepwater access. Huisman China is certified according ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and API.

Huisman China has manufactured the two largest Offshore Mast Cranes ever built by Huisman, the first ever deepwater flex-lay system, well intervention towers and the world’s largest tub mounted cranes (10,000 tonnes) which are currently under construction for Heerema’s newbuild vessel "Sleipnir."

The production facility also delivered its 100th crane in 2015.
